all of a sudden, in the last year, TV is showing more blacks in commercials, movies, game shows and other news items!Am I witnessing the new black revolution? State Farm Ins. Changed the salesman to black from white, black women are now in charge of any commercials we see,...indoctrination at the highest!....You cannot turn on the tube without seeing newscasters,and sports shows being hosted by blacks...in other words unless you watch "Death Valley Days",or "Grit"....you see nothing white anymore, although black is only 13 % of the population...All the new shows are using equal rights forums for their themes...when will this tide turn to reality?...I guess whne the money stops coming in,change will be on its way...
I think it needs to keep going. They should stop making movies with white people. I think we need a year of no whites in movies and TV. The only way to achieve diversity is to totally eliminate whites...from TV and movies that is.
....I don't think it will work on the Chinese ,they will become the new "Black Masters" as soon as they buy out the country...

Per the author: "....you the reader may want to reiterate that systemic racism exists. It does." No one said if we get rid of systemic racism the problems of Black Americans would magically dissolve, but much progress would be made.
You adopt a poor strategy when you attempt to make your case through selective quotation while the entire text is available to all. From the conclusion: ". . . Our racial “reckoning” could use a reckoning about the term systemic racism. It is often used with an implication, a resonance, a tacit assumption, that to question is unthinkable. Uttered by a certain kind of person, often with a hint of emphasis or an eyeroll, we are to assume that the argumentation behind it has been long accomplished; the heavy lifting was taken care of long ago and we can now just decide what we’re going to do about this “racism” so clearly in our faces. The problem is that this heavy lifting has not occurred. This usage of systemic racism is more rhetorical bludgeon than a simple term of reference. He agrees systemic racism is a thing, his complaint is that it is being misapplied. His example is that black kids see school work as acting white, but its origin came from the legacy of systemic racism. It changed the culture and now we need to change that culture, not lower standards, and that effort no longer has anything to do with systemic racism.
Why? Systemic racism is a pattern of behavior that negatively effects a race and not the public as a whole. He could have chosen another subject to illustrate it like home appraisals. A Black woman in my city, who lives in a traditionally Black neighborhood, got her home appraised to refinance and it was little more than what she paid for it, so she went with a different company and got the same result. She then removed all her family pictures and African art, then had a white male friend with her at the third appraisal. She was offered $100,000 more.
How is trying to right "a pattern of behavior that negatively effects a race and not the public as a whole" being "used to the detriment of Black Americans"?
