I didn't realize my opinion was so popular. :p It is nice to have support. In truth China is an extremely complex problem that I see no easy solution for. The classic idea is you need a united economic coalition to put pressure on China to change. Like I said earlier Trump identified the problem but his "go it alone" solution was a failure. At the same time I do not think solutions like TPP would have done any better.

Has anyone thought of just trading with them as an equable partner, like we do with everyone else?

They're NOT being run by The Insidious Dr. Fu Manchu any more and they're working hard on the inscrutable thing, they really are

They artificially control their currency. That is unfair when all others rely on market forces. For years they have been keeping their currency artificially low so they export more and purchase less from other countries.

Why are cons pretending they don't love Liz Cheney? You don't make someone the 3rd highest ranking member of your party if you don't agree with their ideology

Keeping their factories running and their people employed keeps them in power. That is where the key to beating china lies.

The only way it hurts them to devalue their currency is to make imports more expensive. Until recently China was not a big consumer of foreign goods and services. As their population gets wealthier that may change.

But how can they do that when they are losing money on their currency?

It's called bloody idiocy. I don't see why I'm against it. The more Republicans shoot themselves in the foot the more I like it. Trump may very well be killing the Republicans and they are helping him.

She can disagree and that's fine... But She voted to impeach Trump for his exercise of free speech where he stated his opinion that the election was stolen and that we should peacefully and patrioticaly make our voices heard.
Anyone who does not believe in the importance and value of free speech and the first amendment has no future in the party. Period

Hopefully something like what the Republican Party used to be. Honest traditionalists rather than bigoted mouthpieces for the extremely wealthy

The problem is, that is her focus, when her focus SHOULD be fighting against the radical agenda of the Biden administration, which has alot more to do with her job than bitching about Trump and making the media happy by doing that. While she bitches to the media about Trump, she should be condemning the Biden administration.

Free speech doesn't include promoting violence. You cannot LITERALLY shout fire in a crowded theatre, which is what Trump did on Jan 6.

Isn't that what the GQP should be focused on, but instead they are focused on cancelling members of their own party for being ......what........not sufficiently loyal to their ousted leader? Her only infraction was to refuse to believe & promote a conspiracy theory.

Its absurd......and the GQP is actually building policy founded on conspiracy theories. I can hardly believe what I am seeing, because this kind of thing only happen in 3rd world countries. They are banking on the support of conspiracy nuts to win the mid-terms, and I dont think that is going to work.

They ARE focused on opposing the radical Biden agenda. Speaking of which, do you have anything against the Biden agenda? Surely you must share at least SOME common ground with Republicans on the Biden agenda!

No, that's not why they are trying to cancel her. Mitch McConnell was also not very loyal to Trump, but you don't see them trying to cancel him. Why do you suppose that is?

Quote ONE SINGLE Republican saying this.

We are talking about the cancellation of Liz Cheney, and have been talking about her fore weeks, because that is what GQP is focused on.

Jeffrey Lane Flake (R): "In today’s Republican Party, there is no greater offense than honesty"

Rand Paul (R): "There is no conservative party in US when Republicans are in control"
Yes, obviously. The conversation was about his policies.

Cancelling their own for speaking the truth is not going to work well for the GQP.

As a seasoned politician he has shut his mouth about the conspiracy theories, because he knows that the truth would cost him his career. He is also not saying anything about the cancellation of Cheney for the very same reason.
