How Do You Explain God?

If you were asked: “How could the infinite Creator of the Universe who exists beyond all dimensions of our finite existence walk among His creation, make covenants with them, appear to them in clouds and fire, go to battle for them, bless them, curse them, and redeem them?”

What would you say?

I didn't make an issue of the term El being used as a generic term for the one true God and paganism, I responded to people who said that El refers to both Yahweh and paganism.

What was it that you were saying about the Catholic Church's stance on "Sola Fide" ? - that too was falsehood - gleaned from those fundamentalist extremist sites run by snakes.

Well - and it is actually Jesus that teaches salvation on the basis of works - and "Sola Fide" - salvation by faith alone - that is man made dogma - so as usual .. that horrible site that he continually posts from is spewing falsehood.

Yes is does - Just because you refuse to acknowledge the teachings of Jesus does not mean they do not exist. The video given you in post 2030 gives 5 examples which prove your claim to be abject falsehood.

Yes you did - and you said the God of Jesus was a Pagan God - and that the teachings of Jesus was "False Religion"

So answer the question .. What is your religion - as you are not a follower of Christ.

 

Christianity is not about religion, Christianity is about trying to live out the teachings of Christ.

yes, it is first and foremost a religion, just like Judaism, islam, paganism and every other religion.

 

Judaism and Islam teach salvation by good works.

 

1) that is not Jesus saying he was God
2) You don't believe the teachings of Jesus - so what difference does it make whether or not you believe he was God
3) You have called the God of Jesus a Pagan God

 

God told Moses I am.

Christianity is about trying to live out the message of Christ.

El means God it doesn't refer to pagan concepts of God.
