I am not sure what you mean but, I hope my point is taken.
Historians are not the lawyers, they cannot dictate laws.
The law is clear and the word equal more then clear.
If it is not clear for you, I can't help you.

If you didn't grow up in the ghetto, in an area with substandard schools because your parents lived there, and their parents... and so on dating back to the whole Jim Crow era. And if you didn't have to drop out of high school or forgo attending college because you had to help support your family... And if you are not stopped and frisked, or considered "suspicious" because of your skin color, and are not terrified that you might get shot when a cop stops you for a traffic violation. And if you have never been harassed by white supremacists. And if you grew up without needing to bother to learn the effects of racism in this country... congratulations! You are one of the privileged.

Jim Crow ended a long time ago. Who has run those areas since? Democrats. Ever think that maybe those areas have been mismanaged for the last 52 years? Maybe look there first.

They'll never explain why the urban schools with the most funding, and predominantly minority faculties have the worst achievement records when they post these kinds of rants. What they will do is support eliminating grades and test scores so that the point can't be raised at all. When "academics" have the audacity to say that mathematics, and grammar are racist to account for their their own incompetence, and students ineptitudes ... the system is clearly broken.

Wrong. There were Republican mayors in many major cities. White flight and increasing numbers of poor people gave rise to Democratic control after WW2.
Ever think that Republicans abandoned the idea of helping poor folks?

What are Republicans going to do about this...?

What would you do about the median wage only going up 10% over forty years?

I don't give a crap who runs those areas. They exist! And if you agree they exist, my point is made.

Urban schools typically have less money per student than suburban schools.
If testing made for good schools, Americans would have the best K-12 education in the world.
Very few of millions of U.S. teachers spout such nonsense. You're smearing teachers based on misinformation.
Broken indeed. We can't attract enough decent quality STEM instructors with starting pay for teachers at less than $40,000 per year in many states. I taught computer science and mathematics for many years and finally switched to just economics, accounting, and history because I got fed up with being my own computer technician for out-of-date equipment. I would have quit teaching entirely if I didn't have an independent income that was much greater than my teacher pay.

Let's move to all vouchers. Poor white, brown, and black kids will finally get a fair share of education spending because it will be politically impossible to give them less money. Parents will get to pull their children out of schools not doing the job. Schools will be incentivized to get rid of underperforming staff.

I have a name of the person who lives across the street who had to take his son to private school, due to constant attacks on his race.

Your nonsensical point about turning white people into slaves (see above) is what struck me.
    Non sequitur.

Unless you live in what it primarily a black community, or the kid across the street is a vile bigot who invites conflict, I tend to think our neighbor is covering up something.

Daily I post to effect changing from the Democrats racist pasts, racist Jim Crow Laws, racist Critical Race Theory and to work to reverse as many Democrats passed laws as I can.

Readers, when you vote, either things improve or you made a mess. Now is the time to bring sanity to the congress by making both houses republicans. Even the worst republican is better than the best Democrat.

Now a word on the screed.

Meet in my words David Washington.
David I hope you still are living since you now are an old man.
I met David at Fort Ord, CA.
David had signed up with the Dallas Cowboys and was a 6 month reservist. They never got called draft dodgers yet they really did sign up to evade the draft. David was doing it legally and I never had issues with his method.
So David was active Army with me and once his training ended, off to the Cowboys he reported as I was shipped to Ft. Benning, GA.
David as an athlete was accustomed to adulation.

David was my assistant in running the platoon. We both were nominated by our men to go to the leadership academy where both of us graduated the course.

Ft Ord had a Commanding General. I saw this General send his Army car to pick up Dave so Dave would play on the Fort. Ord basketball team. Dave performed so well with his teammates they won the Army title. Dallas gave Dave permission to play for the Army team at Ft. Ord.

Dave and I became friends. We would go to each others homes on some of the week ends. My parents liked him a lot.
    Dave is black.

Dave shows what happens to blacks who actually go to college (Dave went to USC) and who actually get good at some job.

As it happens, Dave was not the only Black Washington pro ball player I worked with. Anthony Washington played for two pro teams. The Pittsburg Steelers and then the Washington Redskins. I had sold Anthony's brother a home in CA. And he was impressed to tell his brother to use my services. Anthony did two deals with me before leaving my area of business. I did not see him around other football players except his younger brother who was on the 49ers team trying to make that team. Unfortunately that brother was found dead at his home and perhaps drugs were involved. I don't really know and only heard the rumors from his family.

Lemma and I met in 1979 and he did several deals with me. Lemma came from Ethiopia and he caused me to meet others of his family who also did deals with me. Lemma holds a PhD and his specialty is dams and powerplants. He retired from PG&E in CA after a impressive Career.
Folks, I have more black names and stories. But this gives you an idea that skin color is not the issue. These were all black individuals. Frankly I never heard them say they were disadvantaged. They liked me so I presume they liked other whites.
All of us are human beings. Stop acting like some humans are banged down for color. If you will join the human race and produce, you will be amply rewarded as I was along with the blacks.

I wanted to focus on your closing statement and of course your entire remark is still posted above. No disrespect intended.
As to pay for teachers, industry siphons off the best graduates. Can the areas taxpayers be induced to pay more and more to teachers.
Teachers have a major problem. Those above them.

I recall a CA congressman fighting for teachers. He said the funds went into a giant dark hole and the teachers got a fraction of the whole. A tiny fraction.
Here is how you figure out what the Congressman figured out.
Look up the amounts funding education. Learn how many teachers are being supported.

Figure per class room the funding. I suspect like it is in CA the imbalance is not what taxpayers pay, but what the bureaucracy allows the teachers to be paid.

An example is submitted just to give you an idea.

Say you learn the funding for schools that the government has is $300,000 per year per class room. It is easy to deduct the pay to the teachers. So why is it costing far too much for the other stuff leaving the teachers hanging out to dry? Teachers have unions. Why are teachers being treated this way? It is up to the bureaucrats to put money towards teachers and cut down the overhead above teachers.

Government loves bureaucrats. The bureaucrat class is seldom blamed. They were not elected. They still make the major decisions.

Democrats were then guilty of creating the Jim Crow laws. Democrats should focus a lot less on skin color and more on achievements. They act as if the Blacks lack quality leaders, lack quality workers and ignore how those who work diligently have prospered. Walter Williams prospered and so has Thomas Sowell and there are many blacks that did very well. Oprah Winfrey not well educated as a female did super well.

    Oh, I get it.

You desire to use generational issues to push current narratives of why bigotry exists against blacks. But it takes a ridiculous amount of mental cart wheels for your perspective to make sense.

There have been atrocities imposed on every single ethnicity that exists around the globe over the course of history. We enslaved asians, even putting them into internment camps during WWII. Do current generations of asians deal with hardship as a result of those actions? Of course not.

Even if what you are saying is true, at what point do those atrocities generations ago no longer have bearing on current generations? 10 generations? 30? 1000?

Why is it we have ONE ethnicity group in this country that is disadvantaged by what occurred generations ago? What makes them so special?

I can certainly see well enough to see prejudice. How can someone claim value equality while making sweeping generalizations about an entire race.

Yes, especially if pay for teachers is differentiated so schools can pay more to STEM candidates.
    That definitely adds to it.
He probably looked over at the HUGE state education bureaucracy and got a migraine.
They won't do it and that's why I favor school vouchers--for enough money that parents can choose a good education for their child without adding money poor parents don't have. California conservatives came up with a $3,000 voucher plan years ago that didn't pass because it was only designed to help richer parents foot private education for their children.
You know you have a problem when bureaucrats are appointing bureaucrats to coordinate meetings of bureaucrats.
