Ah. I would try to explain nuance or which party was conservative (or Southern for that matter) but I have learned from our prior engagements facts don’t go a long way.

So you want to take America back to 1936?
Or were you trying to make another point?

You posted an image of America Firsters in 1936. I reminded you that the America First movement was not right wing or even Republican.
In addition to FDR the CPUSA was very vocal in support of the America First agenda.

Yes, the parties are very similar, rather like twins joined at the butthead.

I wasn't the one that said they were right wing or Republican — the only people that attributed them to a political party was two very right wingers. Maybe try and correct them as you are obviously more informed than they are.

Candace Owens is only 35. She is not going anywhere. If you can't see how many new and upcoming leaders we have then you have the blinders on.

Yet they are not allowed to been seen or heard. Everything goes through Trump and Mar Lar Go. Even the OP is talking about a Trump/Newt contact with America. Why would your party need to drag out Newt if you someone waiting in the wings?

What makes you think the Democrats will keep majority in the house or both chambers?

There is almost 400 Republicans running for the House and that number keeps growing. Record number of veterans, blacks, females and minorities running for the House making many races much more competitive.

The Senate will come down to 5 seats. Yes the Republicans has over 30 to defend compared to the Democrats 20+ seats but that won't matter.

There is 3 seats that have a small chance of flipping. CO and NM should stay blue and IA should stay red.

The 4 seats that are most important are PA and WI defended by Republicans and GA and AZ defended by Democrats. If the GOP wants to ensure they take the Senate they have to win both seats in historically red states. WI is defended by Ron Jhonson. I'm not sure if he is popular enough to win again.

The last seat is NH. NH had a 1,000 vote difference in the POTUS race in 2016 but went strong for Biden in 2020. This state leans blue and probably would go to a Democrat but NH also has a popular Republican govenor. Rumors are Chris Sununu is considering a Senate run which would turn that race into a toss up but also leave his govenor seat open.

Republicans are also doing a historic first this year. The state of Virginia has a Republican running for every singe state house seat. Something that has never happened before. That is just a example of how determined Republicans are to take back power.

The new Republican party is here to stay, most diverse it has ever been and this midterms will be the most agressive offensive the Republicans have ever tried.

Every mistake or crisis the Biden-Harris administration has from now until the midterms will only strengthen the chances of a GOP landslide.

I currently follow 2 black men running for the House in AZ. I have never seen so many black people on fire for the GOP in my 36 years of living.

Can't you see what's coming? The Democrats attacked Trump for 4 years and in doing so turned the Republican party into the strongest most staunch party in its entire lifetime with a determination and resolve never seen before. A reckoning is coming. Biden is very worried and you should be to.

That's not what I was referring to. My comment was in response to your comment about what would we do without Trump. Try to keep up.

You honestly think there will be no red wave in the midterms? I will be sure to note this and remind you of it in 2022.

Trump lost in 2020 but not the house which is favoring Republicans even more now that Trump lost and the 2020 Cencus results are out.

The Senate as I said above should come down to only 5 seats in play despite over 30 seats total from both parties to defend.

to correct my above post there is 34 Senate races in the midterms I believe. 20 are Republican seats but most Senate seats for both parties are in safe states.

And it still stands. Nobody from your party is allowed to take a lead role as long as Trump is hanging on.

Your question was what would we do if Trump etc were gone and I pointed out we have many leaders.

The performance of the economy and the mobilizing effect that Trump has on Democrats.

I congratulate you for your enthusiasm.

Biden currently has a 54% approval rating. 10% higher than Trump at the same time in 2017.

The Conference Board projects a 9% GDP growth rate for Q3 2021.

    6.6% for the year 2021.

Within 30 days, Biden will have 50% of Americans vaccinated, 75% by the end of August.

All that will be left are Trumpsters who subscribe to conspiracy theories. I wish them nothing but to get sick.

As long as Trump remains in the public eye and makes as much noise as possible, he will remain an incredible motivator to get out the Democratic vote.

And in this country, in case you didn't know, the Liberals far outnumber the Conservatives, as you saw last November.

    So good luck.

I predict that every GOP congressman in a swing district that supported the “stop the steal” crap and is endorsed by Trump will get beat. If the Democrats are smart they will bombard the airwaves with commercials depicting the candidate sucking up to Trump after he lost and choice footage of the insurrection. Independents will flock to reasonable Democrats in those districts in the suburbs especially if Covid is over and the economy is strong. That’s my take anyway.

I would ask the southern conservatives in the parade if they would side more with the left or the right today but they are all rotting in the ground… Would you like to guess?
I am sure the cult master would call them very fine people.

As to the why I posted it, the current slogan of “America First” is a repeat of history. Just trying to educate the uninformed and ignorant.

They ate leaders with millions of followers and alot of power in the party. They are not the leaders in charge but can assume that role when the time comes.

Feel free to provide whatever credible FACTS you might have that will CAUSE a "red wave" in 2022 since there is NOTHING out there currently that supports that position that I am aware.

    https://cookpolitical.com/ratings/senate-race-ratings

And don't bother to respond if ALL you have is extremist rightwing partisan sources that are PANDERING to their base with meaningless drivel about an imaginary "red wave".
