    yeah.. that one reason I stopped going out there... they have , for decades, sat there a drink aND SHOOT.. I prefer to shoot, THEN drink. Another reason I no longer go is because the guys with machine guns don't go anymore, another is, I took my wife one year, the creek had little granite bottom pools up and down, and it will NEVER be more fun than that itme. A forth reason I don't go is I am just too cheap to expend all that ammo, and I ain't really into it like thoise guys are... that guy on the end there, in the white and shorts, operated a twin fifty from a bubble below a B24 during the war.. he's my Dad... he wasn't really into it either.

    Here yo go Tigger.. the ranchito from the air.. probably the most rees in one place for at least twenty miles.. it's on an old oxbow of the Rio Grande.. you can hit water about 10 to 15 freet down... no so for much of south county.. you just can't find water at anydepth, and if you drill deep enough, you might get steam

    It was a nice PU when It first got stuck and sank some 60 to 80 miles from any town.. anything that'd tried to drag it out at that time would also be half buried there.

    It's close to ideal. If the wind wasn't whipping it up at 20mph, it would be great. Gotta have a windbreaker, if I'm in the shade.
