I can't really recall either, although it will be on the record. Personally I never rated foreign policy and international diplomacy as one of the strong suits of the Obama administration. Possibly because so much time, effort and political capital had to be dedicated to getting 'Obama Care' through. (And it was a huge amount of time and effort.)

Basically, agree or disagree the Nobel Prize Committee thought he deserved it. It's their job and since I'm never going to be in the running for one myself who am I to start sniping. (And yes, I've looked askance at some of their choices from time to time to.)

Bearing in mind anyone could cast the same slur at you if all they needed was a photo of you with a young child. And no I'm not a Democrat and I would ask the same question of someone criticizing a Republican President by making the same accusation.

What a lot of us Dems fail to realize is that trumpers don't have a sense of humor and can not recognize something done laughingly in good humor. Instead they interpret a picture solely on the image itself which allows it to be interpreted the way the viewer chooses.

I don't know about others but I hated Trump because he was a hateful man. He hated just about everyone and made no secret of it. All the conservatives loved that because that's how they see someone as "tough" but everyone with any experience with REAL toughness knows that bs to be nothing but a superficial facade to cover up one's essential cowardice.

 

Amen to that. Plus, he allowed his hatefulness to make him a terrible president and a grand national embarrassment.

I'm not even American so I don't really care. My point in this thread remains about accuracy and completeness in OPs to promote open and honest discussion. Of course, that requires you to actually want that.

And you would be defending him. I'm glad you acknowledge that the reactions are about partisan politics and not whatever actually happened.

You don't get to ask that since you're supporting that aspect of the story being supressed because you (don't want to) believe it. Biden supporters will spin their story and you will spin yours. I hold you all in contempt.
