The vaccine doesn't stop you becoming infected! That's not how it works.

There are a whole host of invasive pathogens we humans carry around with us .. but most don't make us sick. That's the purpose of the vaccine, to render COVID no more harmful than any of the other 'passengers'. Further, once it's at that status, our viral loads are too small to spread it to others.

Once again, the vaccine doesn't prevent infection, it prevents serious illness (and to some extent, transmitting the virus to others).

There will always be a small percentage who still become quite ill despite vaccination .. but in 99.99% of those cases, the person was seriously health compromised. There's only a certain point (in poor health) beyond which we can expect our system to survive, even given the advantages of vaccines and good healthcare. Those walking around in that state are playing Russian Roulette. It will take only one small insult to finish them.

As with all vaccines, eventually the virus loses the battle and subsides from the community. Smallpox etc, all went the same way.

Nothing reported to VAERS gets verified before it is entered there. A death logged in VAERS does not mean the cause had ANYTHING AT ALL to do with a vaccine.

VAERS reports DO NOT get verified before they are entered. And, doctors are required to make such reports even if they are confident that vaccines had nothing to do with the issue.

No one has even remotely reached "herd immunity", if it works, and the biggesf "fear porn" is the carefully directed from Putin's troll farm losts to confuse and attack America.

Experimental if hyperbole. They have passed all three phases of clinical trial and received emergency approval. Since the vaccine works as advertised calling it experimental is simply over the top. Sorry. On the other hand there is no reason for a person with natural immunity to be vaccinated and young, healthy people should not harbor a lot of fear of the bug. Getting vaccinated is the right thing to do. Government forcing people to get vaccinated is wrong and will cause the opposite to occur.

I don't know of any case wherer our government is forcing people to be vaccinated.

I DO know that there are those inside and outside of government who are trying to figure out ways to slow the deluge of absolutely false and harmful messaging concerning vaccines.

Yes, they should. Delta (and future strains) are less picky about your age and health. They'll still take out the old, the fat, and the smokers/drinkers first .. but it's possible to end up very sick even when young and healthy.

The 4 people in my apartment complex, 4 family extended family, and the entire hospital wards dedicated to COVID ICU wards, along with the 100s of thousands of people who couldn't get hospital and Dr care because the COVID cases filled and overfilled the entire health care system

Along with 50 times the people with very serious medical care issues, including weeks with tubes down their throats (which gives lifetime of reduced breathing and lifetime, heart damage and other severe damage. Not to mention less than deadly diseases like permanent taste and smell, sleeping and strength issues, and necessary drug maintenance.

Indeed, its not the Black Death, but this idea from the that COVID was trivial or stupid and ignoring it was the Thing To Do is the truly Stupid Thing To Do.

Abd COVID has as likely to have just started, instead of the idea that COVID is ending!

The majority of people that get infected only have mild symptoms. There is zero proof the delta variant is more deadly.

It will mutate to be just another yearly corona flu virus with the population having varying degrees of immunity.
