Doesn't get much more blatant than this. The US House of Representatives has just passed a bill that would allow members of Congress to hire "undocumented" (those who are technically not in the country legally) staffing assistants.

The Senate has yet to pass the bill.

Apparently this bill was needed because, wouldn't you know, it's technically illegal to use government money to employ those who are not allowed by the law to be employed in the country.

Ocasio-Cortez was pushing for the bill.

The bill would result in a 21% increase in the budget for members of Congress to hire more personal aides and staffers.

The bill would also increase the budget to the capitol police by 17%, at the same time Democrats are trying to defund the police in other places.
    Apparently Congress needs protection.

I don't have a problem with members being allowed dreamers, which is what the bill does. I personally think Congress should exempt itself further and be allowed to hire foreign students not on a green card to work as well so they can take whatever experience they get opening mail and running errands in a Congressional office home with them when they graduate.
