Why not just admit that the 2019 tourist figures you quoted are completely irrelevant to the virus figures seen in 2020? I presume you know that international travel was for all of sense of purposes banned in 2020?

We are still getting overseas visitors but they have to quarantine for two weeks. Once we get the vacccine rate up though we will be opening up again just the rollout has had the same slow downs as America and for much the same disinformation

 

Daily case rises of a variant that did not start here, but was brought in from outside, something that could easily be stopped in Australia's Island policy. We gave the vaccine to the really old first, because of all the retirees here, so Kamala Harris got it before I could. Just wait, California is next...

 

The problem with Florida is the really low uptake of the vaccine primarily due to the words from DeSantis. There are plenty of doses available to those who are willing to take it.

A preexisting condition, that list was quite narrow, or being older than Kamala Harris is why Floridians were being ARRESTED for lying about their age. Where I am people over 65 were camping out at the first site to give the vaccine, and ran out, but Kamala Harris already had her shot long before I could legally get it.
