I guess you haven't heard. Biden won the election last November and has been president and in office for over six months now. Are you saying that his performance is so pitiful that all you can do is talk about Trump?

 

Why does it bother you to talk about Trump? Are you saying Trump is off limits to discussion?

 

Maybe it's about ignoring the pink elephant in the room. If enough of us ignore it, we don't have address the problem.

 

I know their motive. What I don't understand is wasting time whining about it.

And their motive is entirely internal. It's a form of denial; pure self-interest, whether others join in is immaterial to the behavior. Fascinating psychology. When someone is faced with conflict, the mind can tend to look for an easy way out. Trump supporters are classic enablers. Plain as day. They don't like being reminded of this, hence the reactions claiming TDS. Blind dismissal. Feels good, or should I say, feels less bad. Classic dysfunctional defense mechanism.
