Asked about the prospect of a mandate in July, Psaki told reporters, “That's not the role of the federal government.”

One week later, Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “There will be no nationwide mandate.”

    Biden, too, had pledged this.

Public safety FIRST, your freedom to choose SECOND.

When I was Republican, we believed in putting the country first.

I’m also a conservative, and during a war, I choose Individual Responsibility over Freedom to choose, and according to Trump, we are at war against an invisible enemy.

Next step; Due to a lack of intelligence, we will need a mandate, and I hope our one term president won’t care about the consequences.

    Last, Howard Stern nailed it!

I think the requirement for federal employees to be vaccinated is outrageous.

(Let's not forget that the federal government employs 2 million civilian workers)

This is clearly the type of thing that will divide America. Biden was obviously lying when he said he would not try to divide America on the campaign trail.

A single elected official should not have this much power to be able to require something like this.

There is also a war against the constitution and the democrats will not win it even though they have a president who has forgotten his vows. Stopping this insanity is putting the country first. I vow I will lose my job and be ostracized from society and I will keep fighting. If soldiers can die for our freedoms, I can lose my job to preserve them; a much smaller sacrifice.

G.O.P. Seethes at Biden Mandate, Even in States Requiring Other Vaccines

WASHINGTON — Like other Republican governors around the country, Tate Reeves of Mississippi reacted angrily to the coronavirus vaccine mandates President Biden imposed on private businesses. Declaring the move “terrifying,” he wrote on Twitter: “This is still America, and we still believe in freedom from tyrants.”

There is a deep inconsistency in that argument. Mississippi has some of the strictest vaccine mandates in the nation, which have not drawn opposition from most of its elected officials. Not only does it require children to be vaccinated against measles, mumps and seven other diseases to attend school, but it goes a step further than most states by barring parents from claiming “religious, philosophical or conscientious” exemptions.

The GOP has become the party of manufactured outrage, mindless hate and hypocritical criticism of Democrats.

Is the Coronavirus Stronger Than White Guilt? We’re about to find out:
BLM plans protest at NYC restaurant where black women from Texas were asked for proof of vaccination
    [IMG]
Texas women filmed 'attacking NYC restaurant hostess after she questioned their vaccination cards' say they were racially profiled and N-word was hurled'.

The Black women are calling for 24 year-old Asian hostess to be fired.
    So, what is going on?

“Now in NYC you’ve got a vaccination-passport requirement that disproportionately affects black people, who are much less likely to get vaccinated than whites and Asians, and you’re surprised that the response is violent? Once you teach people that it’s okay to be violent if they feel mistreated, you don’t get to choose when they feel mistreated.”

    That's right.

"NYC progressives, as blacks and hispanics hate all the Covid security theater, while the white Karen wing of the party is loving it."

OK. So put the nation first. In your estimation the dismantling of fundamental freedom is the price you're willing to give for so BS expectation of safety? Laughable. This is no longer about the Trump, so why bring him up? Xiden is the guy who is demanding that we strip personal liberty, personal choices, all in some vain glorious notion that he can triumph over a man made bio weapon his administration attempted to have built. (oh, an in China because when Obama was president gain of function bio weapons were illegal in the US).

What lack of intelligence suggests is that folks, like you, are entirely willing to endure yet more cases because vaccinated folks are still going to get, spread, and die from the virus released on the world. Literally, everyone I know who is older, somewhat vulnerable, etc are vaccinated already. Those least likely to be effected in any real way are those who are current cases, who aren't filling up the hospitals, etc. And yet, you'd still push your government must protect me from the unwashed here? Really? And once you were ever a republican?

But vaccines against measles and mumps provide immunity while COVID-19 vaccine does not.
