Biden won't do it, but a future U.S. president is going to have to bring U.S. generals to heel.

Uh...Godwin doesn't mean you can't bring up Nazis AT ALL. It really just means you can't bring up a Nazi comparison to automatically win the argument. The Nazis did lots of things that we still do because they worked.

President Biden would NEVER even think of a nuclear attack as a means of staying in power.

Agree. It helps when the POTUS isn't a petulant child rageaholic lunatic with no firing synapses.

It doesn’t matter if you trust her or not. Do you fail too grasp that Civilians are put in charge of the military for a very good reason?

So you’re under the impression that steps already aren’t in place to avoid such a situation?
“The United States has a two-man rule in place at nuclear launch facilities, and while only the president can order the release of nuclear weapons, the order must be verified by the secretary of defense to be an authentic order given by the president (there is a hierarchy of succession in the event that the president is ..”

Oh good so we don’t need actual evidence Biden would do anything. We just need to think he will.

It was far more than that. Months of lies and rage about the election; let's not forget January 6, I know you'd like to, but let's not. People, including his people, thought he had gone mad.

And if that’s the case the constitution provides measures to address that. You don’t just get to send an operative in to do your unconstitutional dirty work

Of course he's not a warmonger. He's a selfmonger. He's capable of doing anything that he believes would help him promote himself. Including starting WW3.

Waaaay more dangerous than a warmonger. Because a warmonger at least promotes wars that they think can be winnable. Trump couldn't care less if the war is winnable or not, so long as HE wins.

Generals knew this. And it's the reason why he needed a babysitter.

Giving that much power to somebody with the mental and emotional capacity of a 10 year-old could have lead this country into big big trouble.

How would starting a major war have helped President Trump?

In all likelihood it wouldn't. But all he needed was to convince himself that it would. Just like he convinced himself that denying that Covid was real would help him. In both cases he would be wrong (it wouldn't help him). But people die anyway.

Then you have no clue how the constitution works or why civilians are in charge of the military. You prefer more of a Russian style of government.

Imagine his reaction if members of the U.S. military did the same thing to President Obama or Biden.

Wasn't it the same left that perceived a lot of fake claims over Trump only to be dashed on the rocks of reality over and over?
The same left that fawned over Trump for 40 years prior to him becoming president.
Doesn't say much for the lefts perception ability, does it.

And given that track record you think a general committing treason by telling China he would warn them of any attack up front is a better idea?
Doesn't say a lot about your perception either.

I find it amazing how the left jumps back and forth on topics depending on who they like or dislike. The only thing consistent about leftist is their ability to never be consistent.
