I don’t believe there really is judgement, just the soul learning lessons from lifetime to lifetime until it has returned to perfect love and can then return to god. Then the whole process begins again. It is the universe/god’s way of experiencing and knowing itself. The whole judgement idea makes no sense to me, and smells like a human creation to keep other humans under their control.

To enter the path of salvation is to first be reborn thru faith, repentance and baptism and receiving the gift of the holy spirit, and then die daily in repentance, putting away ones baser nature and learning doctrine and understanding, line upon line, in communion with God all along the course of ones life. On the other hand, Reincarnation sounds more like procrastination where one never really begins to meet the daily challenges. In salvation one faces judgment daily, that of conscience and conformity to it. This is my understanding and opinion of course. Your belief does sound kindly to me though at least in the end hope of love and fellowship with God. Peace.

It has always been The uneducated and those who cannot think freely for themselves that are succeptible to the snake oil. It is not illogical to think that there is a higher being who may have created life. Even aristotle and other great philosphers shared that notion. But when you claim that such a creator has a son who was born from a virgin, well, that takes an altogether different form of silliness. Oh well, whatever. Ive learned not to waste too much time arguing with those who buy into the silly outlandish beliefs.

"It is remarkable that science itself, using its own methods, has validated the reality of the four.... Instances of telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and psychokinesis have been verified repeatedly in thoughtful laboratory research projects. Further, such abilities are not rare, but seem to be widely distributed among the population....Using its criteria for studying only what is material and physical, using its framework that only what is material and physical exists, science has demonstrated that there is something other than the material and physical....The psychic realm resembles that common ground inhabited by quantum physicists and mystics--a world more like a giant idea than a giant machine....in which sensation and reason no longer reign supreme, in which boundaries dissolve, in which limits are replaced by the limitless, in which space and time no longer seem to be critical factors...." Mind Body Spirit edited by Charles T. Tart, chapter 8 (William Braud) pages 138-139.
    The big picture indicates otherwise.
Scientism is science that has the characteristics of religion.

    So how about this.
Forget God. The idea that we should personify something as vast as the universe in all its complexity and incomprehensibility is selling it short. There is no comparison to something as relatively insignificant as a human being.

To suggest that something as vast as all that has the same petty feelings of jealousy and anger as a human is foolish.

To even think of this whole thing as having been created is just a misunderstanding of the human mind which has a difficult time of understanding infinity since the human mind itself is finite.

The universe, which always has existed and always will exist, has come to know itself in a finite way because conscious beings have arisen out of it. All consciousness is the universe experiencing itself in different situations and with different parameters set on its perceptions.

There is nothing to suggest that these experiences are being stored anywhere except in our minds until we die.
Perhaps the evidence that suggests we are a hologram projected from the rim of a black hole could lead to a conclusion that all of this is stored data.
There is nothing conclusive now though.

I just think the 11 dimensional universe is much too large for a simple word like god. What do I know though? I’m just a dirty, rotten, imbecile.

No you’re not, I shouldn’t have been so snarky.
I kind of like an 11 dimensional universe.

Along the path to heaven - indeed one must be reborn - as that path includes death . .. and has little to do with "faith" as also on that path there is judgement - and there is no "Sola Fide" = free pass through judgement.

Judgement is not a hero worship contest - who had the most faith in contestent number 1 - the other Gods being 2,3 4 and 5. It is when your deeds are weighed on the scales of Justice .. and you pass - or fail.

Now once you get through the pearly gates .. what do you figure the welcome song will be ?

Now after spending some time in heaven - you may want to take a vacation - which of course you can do because it is heaven - where you can do what ever you like.. You can choose from millions of worlds - check these places out on the Heavenly television..

So you go to visit Satan - the Conscierge - everything is reversed of course .. and you are told the one rule about vacations - which is that while you are on vacation - you will not remember your previous life .. cept perhaps small glimpses - which you will associate with a dream or vision.

Question though - on your next vacation - when you will enter the fleshy vessel .. assuming you will be human on this vacation - when do you think the soul arrives ? Conception - or sometime after - and why ?

Settle for what you will. I will believe, have faith in, and follow Jesus Christ who said, "ye must be born again of water and spirit to see and enter the kingdom of heaven."

The above passage says nothing about baptism - we have no idea what Jesus meant by "born again of water and spirit"

Good you have faith in Jesus - nothing wrong with that - but you are not a follower of Jesus. You are a follower of Paul, Martin Luther and manmade dogma. When presented the techings of Jesus - you ran away - ran to Pauline scripture like the fundamentalists do.

I find this a strange thing - almost like clockwork with the fundamentalists - like pushing B7 on the old music boxes - same song every time you push the button. Present the teachings of Jesus - next thing you know these folks are quoting Paul.

Not we....YOU have no idea. Speak for yourself. Our first original birth was via flesh and blood. To be reborn is a spiritual awakening via faith, repentance, baptism and the gift of the holy spirit. Hence, born again of water and spirit. That's some fancy footwork regarding my understanding, but it missies the mark. So you think that people can't know for themselves what any Disciple knew, or that God can't make his will known to an individual today as well as thousands of years ago. Does God change...does he live? Or is he tucked away neatly slumbering in the pages of the bible like a genie, awaiting the proper conjuring. People come and go. God remains the same.

Made up story - which may well be true - as I don't profess to know the mind of God like you - spiritual awakening can happen in many ways - but the claim that because someone poured water on your head gets a free pass through the gates .. or is a requisite criteria .. just makes no sense .. In any case .. I have had 2 baptisms .. so perhaps that gets me extra credit :)

People never know for sure what the will of God is - and expecially the claim that just one book represents the will of god - and nothing else .. specially one as full of pious fraud as the modern Bible that you read.

Some of us have been on this journey a long time mate - you havn't even started .. yet to have the spiritual awakening - too full of spoon fed man made dogma to let anything else in.

LOL. So you're just making up your own religion and consecrating it as righteous? That's rich. Maybe you should submit it to God for his consideration because surely he's just winging it, and could use some experienced advice.
