Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Republicans will not vote in the midterm and general elections until supposed voter fraud in the 2020 election is “solved.”

“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ‘22 or ‘24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do,” the former president’s statement read.

Trump can fix the fraud by telling Republicans to stop cheating.

Most of the cheating has been by Trump supporters.

 

Is this a joke? How could someone say that, most of all Trump, unless they (there is a they behind the scenes of power) want Republicans to lose the election? And, they just want to see if a large portion of Republican voters are really dumb.

They may or may not. The bitterness of elections is such that your individual vote(if you voted for the loser) is useless. It's garbage. Indeed, this is large part why I've abstained from most elections. if my social profile hinges upon a great number of my fellow citizens liking the candidate I voted for, then I have no need for the election. Indeed, democracy has become corrosive to human living in this country.

Democracy is the most flawed and fragile of governments, easily corruptible and with no safeguards for that corruption.

 

Thankfully we don’t have a democracy, we have a republic where the voice of the people is safely ignored and our President can be elected with a quarter of the votes while our Congress gerrymanders their districts to further disenfranchise the people’s will.

 

He Gods and little fishes but he is STUPID!!

What this is really about is him (no surprise). Time and again people closest to him and basically anyone who has half an eye and two brain cells operating will see that he has two prime motivators in life. First of course is feeding his insatiable but always fragile ego and the second is revenge. He WANTS to destroy the Republican Party because they did not do enough (in his eyes) to keep him in power. If the Republican part can fail between now and 2024 then he can ride the “I am your saviour” wagon right into the White House.

His stupidity - which seems to be getting worse, is that he does not see the inherent failure woven into this plan

 

I don't know if it's necessarily stupid on his part. As long as he keeps himself relevant and keeps reaching a wide audience with his unique brand of gospel, he will continue to rake in money like he never has before. He has finally become the kind of celebrity he has always dreamed of being, and all it took was getting into politics at the right moment.

 

‘Stay Home ‘22’ ….sounds like a great GOP campaign slogan to me…..

Nothing wrong with early voting.

But it's surprising that even after this past year's hullabaloo over voter fraud and the lack of evidence presented for all but a few minuscule isolated cases, the stereotype of Democratic voter fraud, especially as a go-to attack, still persists.

I think it's because it's a much loved attack. Just like gay rights were and trans rights are now for the left. Just like attacking abortion is for the right.

But unlike my examples, it's never really proven. It's just kept alive as a perpetuated belief because it makes for a good insult.

I'm sure you already know all that, I'm just pointing this out here for the rest of the readers.
