Mainstream Media Silent over Florida ranking 3rd Lowest COVID infections

The media took great joy in seeing COVID spike in Florida over the summer, but now they're eerily quiet.

It felt like Florida was the top news story every evening on the left-wing networks as they slammed Ron DeSantis for doing a "poor job". Funny enough, whenever COVID spikes hit blue states, the media kept their mouths shut.

Now, however, they're being silent because Florida has just reached the 3rd lowest rate of COVID infection in the United States.

Joe Biden's media team tweeted nearly a year ago that he would "shut down the virus," yet it's been nearly 9 months since Inauguration Day and somehow the virus has not been shut down.

Wonder why we haven't heard more media questions about this. No one can tell me that its taking this long for the biden media team to blame biden's COVID failure crisis on Trump; unless of course, they've all wised up and realized that no one is listening to their slanted-biased and fake news anymore.

 

If there’s any positive news about the China virus it is ignored by the MSN and censored by big tech. Think of all the treatments that have been used against the virus, yet the only treatment the media and big tech will let you talk about is the vaccine. It’s looking like plain old asperin works great against the virus, but even mention it on Twitter and you’re gone.

I’m beginning to think a lot of people are getting their marching orders from big pharma, they’re making billions off the virus as are a lot of other companies like Amazon and Facebook, so they have an incentive to keep people terrified of the Wuhan flu while they sell billions of jabs, sell goods through an online website, and keep people home while on Facebook so ad sales revenue soars. And the media, being obedient to China and big tech, does what they’re told.

 

The media thrive on fear. Can't shake it, they seem deeply intertwined with a story that causes folks to fear. Fear of anything for that matter. Media don't believe in happy endings, they are entirely too jaded. Cynical even.

CNN actively lies to its viewers these days to hype the fear, to shut down any success in the medical literature that doesn't push more fear.

You mean dailywire? The NYT is behind a paywall. However, a case rate for the whole of FL of 13 last week cannot be real. We have more cases in my small county.

 

It depends on how they massage the data. Typically, they average the data over the past few days or a week to smooth the curves..

Regardless of how you look at it, Florida is doing very well right now. Their daily new cases are about one quarter what they were a month ago. Florida appears to be doing it right.

 

The article you quote is the covid rate for one week. Summer covid cases (through September 30) in the six largest states in the US were as follows
Florida - 19,590

Texas - 14,169

California - 6,408

New York - 4,930

Pennsylvania - 4,021

Illinois - 3,839

So you see there is no cover up, there has been no sudden change, I live in Florida and none of the things I have read in any way support that your one week summary is the norm here.
You do not quote the quote the New York Times. You quote an out of context interpretation of a graph for one week by the Patriot News.

• CA was 50% lower than your prediction.

You should probably issue a retraction, and an apology for ever doubting DeSantis, given the wide margins between your prediction and his actual performance.
