    In my opinion...

There are so many possible directions for this story to play out. There's everything from dictatorship to a completely libertarian free state in their future.

There is possible international intrigue, possible international corruption on a grand scale, probable internal corruption, and internal social concerns.

The events in Bolivia have all of the earmarks of a great suspense thriller, but it's happening in real life and real time.

Al Jazeera is doing some good reporting on the events in Bolivia.

There is one link after another.

The former Bolivian president, Evo Morales came from an indigenous (i.e. "oppressed") background and was pretty left wing. Morales was basically accused of trying to rig the election to seek a fourth presidential term (which had already been very controversial), and he ended up being forced to resign. It's likely fighting would have broken out if he had not gone.

The Bolivian Constitution only allowed two presidential terms, but Morales had already served three due to a Supreme Court ruling that his first presidential term did not count because he had gotten a new Constitution passed during his first term. (Even though the old Constitution banned more than two presidential terms also)
So when Morales then sought a fourth term, there was outrage.

    Fascinating!!!!

This is an angle on all of this that certainly could make a trip to Bolivia for a number of years very worthwhile for my wife and I.....
My wife is a gifted Pentecostal or Charismatic Catholic and
I have read so many near death experience accounts that I can usually have an intelligent conversation with
people who think of themselves as Shamans!
