Beat trump. Repubs would have been better off holding trump to account for his crimes instead of betraying America to pander to the malignant narcissist. Now he’s an albatross around their necks dragging the further down into the sewer and reminding Americans why they had to fire the orange dotard.

This week's Biden admin talking point: Everything sucks right now because we're doing such a great job.

I don't see a lot of difference. The wording is the same.
And all of the hysterics and crying seems to be from the Trump supporters.

The others seem to be just pointing at it as an example of how much of a low life Trump is.
Was the point of this thread "what has Biden done for Americans"?
No. Your TDS is causing you to sound very monotone and appear to not really think about the topic but throw off knee jerk reactions.
You sound like a heart broken teenage girl.

Trump was so bad that we set a record for the largest turnout in History to vote his worthless ass out.

But keep believing that folks other than trumpists like him. LOL

He really defines the word "low-life", but he was right about one thing: he said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and people would still support him. Such blind loyalty is a dangerous mind-set.

Classic Trump or should I say no class Trump. This is why he'd never get my vote. Not even if he ran against Attila the Hun or Genghis Khan. The only RINO here is Trump himself. The 7 time party switcher never had a political philosophy or ideology of his own. He always adopted the philosophy of the party he belonged to at the time. Actually, the whole Republican Party has pretty much become RINO's. They don't have any more conservative ideals of the past, just following one man with none.

This is absolutely BS revisionist history, so let's actually go back memory lane and establish what really happened: At the time the coronavirus first came onto US Shores, democrats were begging Trump for action(at the time, we had just come off impeachment 2.0) but Trump was very reluctant to declare a national emergency. It was only when California(and then later New York) declared their own state of emergencies that Trump followed with his own declaration.

Trump would continue to prefer a states right approach to an authoritarian response to the virus, because while he did invoke the defense authorization act, he knew he couldn't very well enslave the companies to do the governments bidding(despite democrats confusion about that.). In spite of that, he did send the military boats to NY(who refused to use them while embracing the controversial policies with nursing homes. Which yes, some have tried to deflect to the Trump Administration, but he was POTUS, not governor.)

Texas however used them. Where government assistance was provided, it was accepted. The idea that Trump failed to address the crisis
was reduced to "Well, he's not wearing the masks, etc"(which is still a controversy, because masks cannot truly be proven to be an empirical way of reducing transmission.) If we think about it, masks are little more than a substitute for covering our mouths with our hands and arms.

So, that's history as it actually was, even accounting for Democrat complaints at the time. The guidelines were something the WH doctor team(Fauci, etc) came up with as a sort of federal plan to what the States were already doing. States own the shutdown period, the planning, etc by democrats own complaints Trump was reactionary and "late".

His loyal hardcore supporters call themselves a part of Cult45. Hell, they are so proud to be in his cult that they made t-shirts with Cult45 branded on them.

The difference is both Signal Man/CNN preceding and and mixing the actual Trump statement with the hysterical comments shown below which are use as an intro. This is done as a psychological and mind control technique to make it appear that Trump said something horrible, which he did not. The use of all bold is likewise a technique to represent, create, and appeal to emotion.

(Signal Man) Nothing is below Trump?!! If he was still president, I doubt if the flags, would be lowered in honor of Collin Powell?!! Trump is just mad, Collin Powell criticize him and like a child, Trump is vindictive?!!

(CNN) Roughly 24 hours after the death of Colin Powell, Donald Trump proved, again, that he is utterly incapable of empathy, grace or even common decency.

Honestly, I didn't pay any attention to the histrionics. I try to use my own judgement based on what the subject actually said or did.
IN MY OPINION, Trump was completely out of bounds with his comments. Keep in mind that this was what he intentionally released to the public, not caught on some hot mic or something. I think taking shots at someone after their death is a low blow, mostly because they can't defend themselves and the family of the person could suffer from it. Someone earlier called me shallow. Ok, if you want to look at it that way, go ahead.
I'll never accept this type of behavior. If one of your kids did this, most of you would say something to them about not being wise behavior.
And "Hope that happens to me someday". If anyone doubted Trump's narcissism, here's glaring proof that he see's everything that happens in relation to what he would want.
Trump has disgusted me for awhile. I'm getting to the point that anyone who supports him is almost equally disgusting. That may not be fair in some ways, but I feel there needs to be a push back for this type of behavior so it doesn't get ingrained into our society.
I'm thinking about the survivors of the dead person.

I find the Trump comment to be in poor taste and lacking in class. But not the end of the world or that big of a deal actually. Cause, you know what. Class is disappearing from American society. Trump is hardly unique in this regard. What used to be called "polite society" no longer exists.

The Trump statement we are discussing is certainly not the proper basis for a rant, which is how I would categorize the OP. There needs to be pushback I guess, but to me, the focus needs to be on the current President and what he is actually doing to ruin the country, rather than continue to continue to focus on Trump (as many do on this forum) to deflect from Biden's poor performance.

I think you would have a good point at the end of your post, except that Trump (and his supporters) are injecting Trump into the conversation daily. Trust me, I would like nothing better than to never hear or see his name in the news or message boards again. But, just about the time that happens, he holds a rally or sends out a message in some way, and here we go again. I think he does it on purpose just to stay relevant.
The focus on the current president's performance has no place in this thread, unless it is being used as a deflection.

    Oh, ffs.

No one tops Trump supporters in the hate category. Every minor or major public figure who says anything negative about Trump, or even just refuses to go along with the Big Lie, get death threats and in-person threats of physical harm from Trumpsters.

If hate is what you see, perhaps it's coming from within.

The left tops everyone in the hate category, it isn’t even close. The right largely would just like to be left alone and leave you alone. It is the left who pursues counter protests and violence at every turn, who hold up fake heads of Trump. Who wish to gets everyone fired for nonsense, who call all people on the right nazis. It’s the left that is full of hate.

pretty sure he won't show up for his own funeral ... he doesn't go to anyone elses ...

One look at the crowd on 1/6 and I would have to disagree on who causes more mental health problems ... I advocate free lithium and thorazine for die hard Trump supporters ...

Your #4 point fails to recognize that Trump goes after anyone and everyone that disagrees with him.

The only fake moral superiority here I've seen has come to the right. And I'm not talking about criticizing veterans. I'm talking about belittling the sacrifices of our WWII veterans and the millions who suffered in Nazi Germany. Sorry if you think all of those people are worthless. I disagree.

Bullshit. Just ask election officials in red states who did their effing jobs in Nov. 2020 and get death threats from righties for it. Or school board members, ffs. They are threatening the lives of effing school board members and their families, including children, just because the district has a mask mandate. Who threatens to kill or hurt someone over wearing or not wearing masks?

The left are amateurs when it comes to expressing and acting upon hate.

It’s the truth, the lefts hate of everyone who disagrees with them is far beyond that of any other group. They threaten to kill or hurt people who don’t wanna wear a mask. They call everyone nazis and then push narratives to kill nazis. The left are absolutely pros at expressing hate and acting upon it. They call parents domestic terrorists for disagreeing with racist crt bs.

You mean the same 2020 when businesses were shut down and people were not free to move about? That 2020?

I got an alert that said someone mentioned me in a post, but the post is blank now.
Maybe there was a dirty word. I answer to those as well as nice names.
Maybe the person wanted me to move that post to the humor section. I might but something like that is funny only if you're sure it won't come true. I'm not sure.

'm trying to remember what they said about George Wallace when he died. I think someone said he recanted his racist rhetoric.
I heard that someone was upset at Nixon's funeral when the reporter retold the joke about Carter, Ford and Nixon: "See no evil, hear no evil and evil."
    I'm sure we'll hear worse.

The other big thing about that is the criticism of the Bush administration.
What most people forget is that Trump criticized the errors and evils of the Bush and Clinton administrations with equal vigor as the Obama administration.
His opponents had to defend their brother, husband, employer or coconspirator, losing support in the process.
As I said at the time, I wish those comments came out of a nicer mouth.
