It is how much of the virus is in an area

Now if you are in a BIG shopping centre and there is one infected person at the other end of the mall coughing you might get one virus float past you waving. Compare that with being in a busy Emergency room with 20 infected people coughing and the air conditioner just broke down. In the second scenario there are trillions of viruses partying along.

Which scenario do you think would make you sickest?

So a colleague in a bar didn't get typhoid after vaccination so that means no one does?

You would not need a booster every few years if the vaccine gave 100% protection

Its a case of mind over matter. I don't mind and it don't matter. I'm in Texas. We don't "distance" and we don't wear masks... so I never thought about it. Lots more interesting things to think about in the mall and I don't hang out in Emergency rooms.

The Army never told me I needed a booster.

If you get it while unvaccinated it may very well end it.

I don't worry about the China Virus... by the way... can you see my posts there, shivering in fear under the bed? I can write larger if you wish.

And what has been the death rate from Covid in Texas?

Meanwhile in MY home state we have had a grand total of seven Corona related deaths

Actually vaccines have nothing to do with transmission. If one has a higher viral load, then he or she is likely to include more viral particles in each transmission. But the transmission itself is neither prevented or even reduced by the presence of antibodies.

The benefit of vaccines is to cause the immune system to develop antibodies for a threat it hasn't yet encountered. One can't have a viral load until after infection. Common sense.

    Excellent point.

It leads to the conclusion that the media and the Biden Administrstion are lying....

But if the system has antibodies then once one is infected the viral load will be less, isn't that so? And the viruses left will be weakened?

It does both of these things but not ABSOLUTELY. As I understand the matter NOTHING works absolutely. It took over 200 years to eradicate smallpox and that is among the most effective vaccines known

So that when you get it, it will be very mild, maybe even asymptomatic

    You WON'T DIE,

It's REALLY strange to me how that factor, that you (most likely) WON'T DIE (from the COVID, everybody dies sometime, smarty pants), doesn't seem to be entering your thinking at all.

Hey, I'm a grandpa and I'm doing fine.... go shiver in fear. Like I said, I have better things to do than worry. Life is too much fun, even for an old guy like me.

Show a single study that actually show actual data that supports your claim. Yes, there are certainly claims of efficacy, but actual observable data is rapidly demonstrating that the claim that the vacs either reduce the likelihood of being infected, or being afflicted with or reducing the actual spreading of the virus are not in evidence.

What the heck are viruses for if not keeping you from getting or giving a disease? Have all those years of typhus, yellow fever, typhoid, whooping cough, measles, Rubella, etc vaccines just been a waste of time? Heck... I got lots of vaccines and never got sick from anything I got a jab for... not one. See? Politics is at play here to tell us that the China Virus vaccine is somehow different.

If the antibodies are there then there is a good chance that they will overwhelm the incoming virus quickly so that there are no symptoms at all. That is the reason people say incorrectly that the transmission was blocked. Actually it wasn't. The antibodies win the war against the virus before the virus can do any meaningful harm.

Viruses aren't weakened. They aren't even strong in the first place. They aren't even organisms. They are just an RNA or DNA string in a protein wrapper. When they attach to a cell the cell can access the RNA or DNA as it reproduces the virus particle. The living cells of the host do all the work.

Some of those aren't viral diseases. They are bacterial. A bacterium is an organism, unlike a virus and it can be killed by either the immune system or drugs. The reason corona viruses are different is that they are reproduced faster than some other viruses. So they affect the living cells faster. Also they mutate faster than other viruses and that is why we have lived with seasonal corona viruses for a long long time and we don't seem to be able to get rid of them. There is nothing political about a virus. The politics is in the manner in which we have responded to this one.

Nothing new here. Vaccines cause the body to develop antibodies and do nothing else. This has always been the case. The antibodies have nothing to do until an infection has been transmitted. They cannot affect the transmission of disease.

The living cells do all the work? So the living cells are all registered Republicans?

The Pharma literature, advertising brochures, promote lies, as many advertising brochures do.

The clot shots don't work as advertised. It seems you understand that simple fact, but poor Whoopi does not.

Some are doing it because of the bigotry related to it. If they have no issue taking it, and it makes their life easier to deal with, that's their choice. The threats of restricted travel, events, public spaces is a disgusting method of certain groups to force compliance.

Some things aren't worth the hassle. Some people don't have a strong enough opinion on it to worry about it.

Guess what leftists... Regeneron, Ivermectin, z pack, zinc, intravenous vitamin c, saline nasal flush, gargle peroxide at the onset of symptoms will cure 99.9% of covid cases. But forget that. Let's triple down on stupid and keep hoping mystery mrna will work. It is almost as if they want us all to take the mystery drug for some reason...
