Women have the right to vote because men gave it to them. I think women should use their vote to save our nation, instead they elected the most piss poor object of the Presidency ever! Worse than Jimmy Carter....

Rights are never given. Priveledges are given. Rights can only be taken. Either someone takes your rights away, or you take them back.

There is not a lot to tell about the OP. Rights are something that the state (and society) grant you for different reasons. Either because they fear you or because they have an interest.
In case of vote, it's both something acquired by force and to give an illusion of power for the people.
Elites rule first for their own interest with an appearance of worrying for the common interest.

An elite is anyone that is able to have power. Power can take many forms, between social relationships (belonging to the right circles) or money for instance.
Obviously, many women belong to this elite, Melinda Gates, Hillary Clinton would be obvious examples, but they're not always well-known.

A republican or a democrat representative tend to rule first for their own interest in disguise of the one of the who people elected them. It's not really a plot, or a problem specific to those parties, something that happen also subconsciously.
