Americans love to complain and point fingers at politicans, but the issues are far worse elsewhere, like the UK, where the shelves are literally empty. Here people talk about empty shelves, but I have never seen one.

Empty shelves, gasoline shortages and sky-high energy prices? Britain is facing a ‘difficult winter’
    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/24/emp...e-shortages-uk-facing-a-difficult-winter.html
LONDON — Britain has been plunged into uncertainty as issues over gasoline, electricity and food have prompted warnings of “a really difficult winter” for the country.

A significant lack of truck drivers has meant deliveries of fuel and goods have fallen short.

In a bid to incentivize people to take the job, some employers have reportedly offered salaries as high as £70,000 ($95,750) a year, with joining bonuses of £2,000.

The sleezies have taken over our governments. That's what happens when you let people vote their own interests into law.

The impact of liberalism and the global warming cult is not limited to the US.

Which law are you referring to? Brexit?

$95,750 to drive a truck sounds like a good deal.

This is a problem of the UK's own making and it wasn't liberal ideology (as we see the word "liberal" in context of US-American politics) in play, but rather, decisive Conservative ****ups, deliberate ****ups concerning North Ireland. I saw this problem coming 2 years ago.

What does this have to do with liberalism? The UK has a conservative government, Boris Johnosn is a conservative PM.
It's mind-boggling to see how little use some people make of their brains.

Americans haven't seen truly "bad" since the height of The Great Depression....having been raised lower middle class by parents who were dirt-poor BEFORE that event I'm thankful for what little I have, which would be considered opulent by the standards much of the world exists under. Good luck to the Brits, they've been around quite awhile now, I'm betting they muddle through this too.

Why is this not Joe Biden's fault?

Few weeks ago a right-wing journalist stood in front of empty shelves trying to sell the ides she was in US, but you could see the price tags the shelves were in UK pounds.

I've seen Walmart shelves look much the same. There are products that you should buy early if you are going to need them because by evening they are gone.

Just happens to be a heck of a lot tougher for them than us. The global energy squeeze is hitting Europe and Asia much harder than us. Natural gas prices in Europe are up five-fold.

Ah yes... and we do all we can to help Europe with the natural gas crisis by punishing Russia. Thank you, Democrats.

    Oh, wait! :D

You'd blame democrats for a pimple on your ass cheek.

    Partisan drivel.......

Russia in in a good place in the sense that they can export gas to Asia or Europe, whoever pays more. Demand in Asia, especially China, is skyrocketing because their energy need is shifting more towards the natural gas.

You leave my old, bony, hairy ass out of it, sonny! :D

So, Russia is in a good place and still, Biden helps them by lifting sanctions that would have crippled the gas pipeline... why?

They are in the good place in the sense which I described. Other than that Russia is a miserable place.

First you say we punish Russia, and now we are helping them.

Pick a line and run with it.
