Interesting how Democrats didn't think an insurrection was going on at the time, until later when Democrats molded the story into being an insurrection. And yet, even as we speak, not one person has been charged with insurrection.

Guess we can call this the selfie riot. Many were let in by capitol police. It was stupid but the actual protest was peaceful and meant to do what protests do. Protest. It was no different than the all summer long riots where we had constantly had mostly peaceful protesters and a few radicals fighting with police, committing violence, taking over swaths of territory from the police, trying to storm federal courts (you know, our democracy) and vandalizing everything in sight.

What makes numerous summer riots ok? The ones that were far worse the left refused police or help from the National Guard. What are we talking about here?!! The riots in the summer were about a real thing, police brutality against blacks. A real thing that continues to this day. Jan 6th is about a lie that Trump actually won an election. He didn't. The summer riots have actual, numerous proof of truth which the right have a hard time accepting and that same group of people, for some reason, have a hard time accepting that Trump lost. Why is that?
