And then selling tee shirts, mugs, hats, etc with that ballon design is also ok. And how many libs walked around with signs hates, shirts that said love trumps hate?

    In the interests of kindness, though .. it's worth considering how they came to that place. When you buy into an indeology which is sanctioned by those you've decided are cool and clever (in this case, media, actors, old rich white men, misfit youth, useful idiot POCs, etc), and from that point on you limit your exposure to alternative thought completely - it doesn't take long before you begin to imagine that the whole world supports your ideology. Once that happens, any event which inadvertently exposes the deep delusion comes as a shock. Such a shock that it's impossible to even attempt a moderated response.
