Since a child would make it surely you can in your own words discuss the differences... Cant you?

Really. I just imagined every American home(s) in every border state walled in as I read past your final line and SMH at the irony ;)

I can, but you shouldn't need that explained to you. The fact that you say it needs explanation, means you aren't truly interested.

It's funny because I'm actually not sure if he was a proponent or opponent of fences.

It's more like an argument that's so simple only a child could fail to see the validity of the comparison.

Walls around a person's property do the same thing border walls do- keep unwanted people out.

Joe Biden doesn't care about walls around private property(like his own), because it doesn't score him any political points to oppose them.

Shutting down construction on the border wall DOES score him political point with leftists who want open borders. So there's the difference between walls around private property, and border walls- political pandering points, which is far more important to Team Joe than border security.

Are all border walls useless, or just the one on America's southern border?

So much for the "most transparent, inclusive" president of all time. I was surprised to see that it wasn't the neighbors building walls to keep Biden out...

What about those that can't afford to live behind a wall? How about the crime infested neighborhoods controlled by gangs that strengthen their numbers through illegal immigration? What about the steady stream of income enjoyed by the cartels, taking advantage of our lack of border security?

Speaking of arguments children would make, what about the thousands of children sexually abused on their journey here?

The pain and suffering his border policy creates makes his wall a symbol of hypocrisy. Security and safety for me, not for thee.

Anything less than a living wall is exploitation of poor people. Everyone should be able to at least have a minimum wall.

The total number of illegals entering the US, yearly, almost half are visa overstays.

    Fact.

I was against it when the subject came up before Trump. Reason: there are more effective means that over time may be less expensive and more comprehensive using technology like heat sensors and other devices. They already are using them in places that are high security areas for the military. Example Area 51. They don't have big tall fences, in fact, no fences. But if anyone steps foot past a certain point, security will be there shortly.
I've always thought the "big tall fence" idea was inefficient and kind of ridiculous given the circumstances and technological advances.
Seems to be the no thinking allowed solution.
And I'm ok with putting a fence around the residence of Joe Biden. As someone pointed out, they add security for all presidents.

Do half of burglars get in homes by way of a legal visa?
