Wisconsin Bill Brings Back CHILD LABOR Instead Of Raising Wages | The Kyle Kulinski Show
    Duration:5:54

This is how Republican politicians respond to the labor shortage. Make the kids work. Thank goodness that Federal law trumps state law. This is a bad idea, and yet is there really an alternative?

A new development in the great resignation event.

I didn’t watch the video, but can you explain how this bill makes kids work? Are they somehow being forced to work? If anything, this sounds like an opportunity for ambitious kids.

The bill lets kids work... Given the bill is letting people do what I did when I was a kid, seems like its just getting Wis back on track with the rest of us.

I started working in 6th grade at the rip old age of 11. I worked a paper route, for my aunt's catering company, and other things. Then I started working in the evenings at a fast food place at 15, my parents had to sign a waiver and drop me off and pick me up. Sometimes until closing, which was 10 or 11 at night.

All for about $7.25 an hour.

I didn't die. In fact, it made me a lot stronger, understanding of work ethic and a host of other valuable assets clearly lost on our current generations. Buck up chuck.

Nobody is forcing them to work, but simply giving them an opporutnity.

Well not watching the video was the hope of the thread :) We have in this state "IF THEY WANT TO" work opportunity for 14yo at some places like McD, Wendy's, Arby's and landscaping, stuff like that.. Some folks see this as growth and learning how to earn money, many on the left see this as slave labor IF it's a American :)

They think children should play video games, and hope morons like ByDumb will provide for them until at least 40ish :)

Less than a minute in on the video I actually laughed out loud ! Oh my allowing a 14yo to work as late at 11pm, hell the 14yo I know are on the phone or Xbox that late.. No where in the Video does it say FORCED labor lmfao.. So I don't see where this should effect the true believers on the left, they will still have the comfort of cuddling with their FOURTEEN year old children on the couch watching CNN and episodes of the Bachelorette and or The Biggest Loser (TV Series 2020– ) - IMDb while snacking on rice cakes..

BTW, are they allowed to snuggle with their children now

Well, you know the drill. The left want all these "eager minds" home, studying their indoctrinal homework instead of learning how to make a living and fend for themselves.

How refreshing to see dems take a sudden interest in children. Of course their border policies subject children to sexual assault and their regulations+excessive taxes send labor to countries where children are exploited.

But now teens can work until 11 on Friday and Saturday, its time to stand up for children!

Does this still require a work permit approved by their parents?

What it looks like to me is that children that learn skills and work ethic are less likely to vote democrat! My 5 kids were all Democrats until they had to make a living.

a teenager could work til 11pm on a Saturday night

I wonder if any of these OUTRAGED Democrat voters ever used a babysitter under the age of 16 and had them sit their children past 9pm

    oh the outrage

So a bill allowing kids to work is now a bill forcing kids to work. The people who willingly misrepresent facts are the same people who believe there’s a peep tape, Russian banks and mafia, and 80 million votes.

@FreshAir needs to see this thread and tell us if he sees any cult like activity.

I would say that this thread crashed and burned from the initial intent. Once facts and reality arrive, threads seem to go dormant

Lots of kids work in their parents businesses. Teaches work ethic, something democrats don’t like or understand.

I thought you lived in California.

I started working with in my father’s dry cleaners when I was 8. First it was just on Saturdays, then it was Saturdays plus 2 hours after school each day. My father would drive the truck and I would run the clean clothes to the house and i received no pay except for tips, they tip good in New Jersey, especially the old Italian mobsters.

And I used to wash dishes, vacuum the floors, take out the trash, and all sorts of other labor at home for free. Before I was 10 or 12 we all had to paint a two story house.

What kid sits at home a does no work at all?

    nope, Iowa

I worked on the farm, hard work and low pay, I was shocked when I got a real job (as in adult only job), easier and more pay

but the law ironically would not let me get the easier safer jobs, lol, child labor was fine for farm work though

This is not "bringing back child labor". Child labor has always existed, and still exists, and there's nothing wrong with children developing a good work ethic.

Wisconsin does not have any major labor shortage issues. Wisconsin has plenty of people willing and able to work. Any "labor shortages" here are largely self-induced due to companies attempting to assault their employees with needles.

Okay. So? I see no problem with any of that.

There are no major labor shortage issues in Wisconsin. Any "labor shortages" here are largely self-induced due to employers attempting to assault their employees with needles.

Sounds good to me. Teaches them good work ethic. Keeps them out of trouble.

Actually, that's not the case. Remember, it was the States which created the federal government, and all powers not granted to the federal government are retained by the States. Read the US Constitution sometime...

    Bingo.

Once again, conservatives are pro-freedom and liberals are pro-mandate. Conservatives live at peace with the world around them, while liberals live in fear of the world around them (thus their need and thirst for tyrannical control over the world around them).
