Life is not supposed to be easy, we are supposed to earn our living through actual sacrifices, hard work and expected to be productive. That's right.

We are seeing a complete catastrophe of an administration. Even the staunchest of liberals know Biden is a disaster but they are in denial and will distract from his failures, make excuses, blame others.

FeelSgood cannot be a governing principle, it's about what is the greater good for the maximum amount or people and country longterm. Socialism makes the rich poor but the poorer poorer too. This is just a fact. And no, nordic model is not socialism, it's free market capitalism which allows for the provision of generous entitlements. Free market capitalism is the golden goose that lays the golden egg. There isn't even minimum wage in Nordic model. What the American socialists want is what we see in countries like Venezuela where the rich and poor have become poorer after being promised prosperity (Venezuela was actually a relatively prosperous country) and crime has skyrocketed (one of the highest crime rates in the world).

The Biden admistration is far worse than i ever could possibly imagine.

On Covid - more deaths under Biden than under Trump and Biden has had a vaccine all along. People getting fired from their jobs, irrespective of their contributions, for not getting vaccines. And NO, it's not trump supporters only, take a look at the protest by BLM in support of Kyrie Irvin's stance to not get vaccinated. It's 50/50, stats show... democrats and conservatives alike.

On immigration - After Trump fixed the border crisis, it's as bad as it has been in decades. Record # of apprehensions, kids suffering, people being released by hundreds of thousands all over, covid positive people pouring in, drugs pouring in, human trafficking striving. BUT FeelSgood...

On economy - inflation rising, everything going up. Trump made us energy independent but Biden reversed this, now we are no longer energy independent and needing to import more, from countries which produce dirtier energy. So we are relying on dirtier energy and at the mercy of foreign producers. US produces cleaner energy than OPEC. The consumer is suffering. It FeelSgood though, 'climate change'. They want to implement a wealth tax, a catastrophic measure. Imagine, you own an asset and it goes up in value, you get taxed on it but cash is not in your bank account. So, you have to may a ton of taxes on money you don't actually have. This will be catastrophic, investors will stop investing, stock market will crash, wealth will be destroyed. It FeelSgood though... go after billionaires. Massive spending being proposed, spending which will bring the country to it's knees. FeelSgood.

On foreign matters. The Afghan withdrawal was a disaster, Trump was going to pull out but in an organized phased approach. The Taliban feared Trump, he threatened them and in 18 months before trump left office, no american was killed. Trump was going to withdraw all assets and americans in an orderly fashion. Biden left 80 billion of military equipment to the Taliban, he should be impeached just for this. Americans died, weakness was shown. The enemies don't respect Biden, they feared Trump. Allies don't respect Biden....

Civil liberties/rights. Critical race theory (racism - race first, merit second), attacks on conversatives, religious people, whites. DE&I being forced everywhere, oftentimes leading to discrimination against whites and even asians (harvard). It's not about merit but race, how you look like. Nothing can be more antithetical to what is claimed to be the original intent. Civil liberties are actually being suspended. You can no longer speak freely as a conservative or you are cancelled or even investigated. You can no longer have confidence of attaining a job/get into college if you are the best prepared because your skin color may be too light or maybe you are asian and too many of you are already enrolled in a university. If you are black, you can take to streets, burn down cities and you are a hero. If you are a conservative, you are imprisoned for just being present, as a bystander, during a riot by conservatives. The left is just barely falling short or persecuting anyone white, conservative or successful. Transgender now can compete with females which is nothing more than disadvantaging females. Law enforcement under attack, crime up everywhere. If you are white and get shot by a cop, it doesn't matter but if you are a thug who gets shot by a cop, it matters. It all FeelSGood

The root of all this is hate, hate towards the great people who founded this country, hate against those who succeed based on merit. It's also self-serving and selfish behavior by politicians who have to destroy the opposing party and implement opposing policies irrespective of their effect on country, it's about staying in power. As the power shifts from the greatest contributors to the successes of this country to the lesser contributors (and those who contribute 0, even criminals), this great country is on the path of extinction.

 

I can agree with much of what you said. Biden said it himself. He wants to make Whites the minority because he feels the Democratic Party and America strength is in minorities. They have been sucking up to them for years, making them believe that only the Democrats care for them. What did he say to Blacks, if your not a Democrat the Right will put you in chains, or something close to that. ? A Party is to represent all Americans. Not just the ones they feel will vote for them.

As to the premise of the thread: Yes, life is supposed to be hard. We are not supposed to get up at 7 in the morning and hop into our heated 3 ton SUV with AC and heated and cooled seats, which is driving us to work without barely lifting a finger. No, nature designed humans to actually WORK, i.e. walk, run, climb, cut trees with hand tools, instead of a 3 HP giant chain saw. Why do we have it so EASY? Because of supidly stumbling across a super energy source (fossil fuels) that mother nature was so kind to save for us for millions of years. And we are using it up foolishly in 200 years by wonton consumption. So, yes, let's go back to the days where life wasn't easy and every human didn't use the equivalent of 100 energy slaves every day, and where humans toiled for 16 hours a day in agriculture to feed themselves without being able to do anything else but work. Are you in?

More worrisome are the voters, millions vote on emotions, not even understanding anything regarding the policy prescriptions each party offers. Literally millions voted for biden just because they thought trump was a racist and didn’t like his tweets, completely ignorant on the policy prescriptions.

While everything is a cold blooded political calculation, Democrats use emotion to sell their cold blooded calculations. In that sense, their use of emotion IS cold blooded, and that emotion based sales pitch is precisely HOW they govern.

joe biden is anti domestic production and anti pipeline systems running through US land. What did he do first week in office? Kill keystone XL pipeline, efforts to limit drilling in federal land, plans to crackdown on oil and us gas producers, focusing on emissions.

so it’s not just about these headwinds we are facing which are not all to do with biden but our counter measures to address them. Everything biden is doing is exacerbating the problem.
