Well, as far as electric cars. Elon at Tesla or the usually wealthy investors willing to invest in green tech industries don't need help. And China needs no help, they only need the will to do so.

The thing with China is that then they decide to do something, they get it done very fast since the government can thrown it massive resources into the projects. They have already cut emissions by 20%in past 5 years and if they go all-in with green tech, they will corner the global market in that technology and the US will be a distant #2 because we have people fighting tooth and nail against such technology.

Currently they use coal for 70-80% of their energy needs, or about 50% of global consumption, but they plan to spend nearly half a trillion on nuclear plants.

China hasnt done that. Theyve only agreed to continue to increase their total output of CO2 until 2030. its been rapidly increasing since 2000. 75% of the worlds power production by coal is in China and theyve been the primary financier of building coal plants in other nations.

It's faster because there is no opposition party.

75% of the new coal power plants are in China. My statement above should have been "75% of the worlds [NEW] power production" in 2020

China continues to add coal-fired power plants within its borders, bringing forty-one gigawatts of coal power on line in 2020 alone, which accounted for seventy-five percent of the global total.

Yeah, Iran was already prohibited by treaty from developing Nukes, just as China has already agreed to continue increasing CO2 until 2030.

Yes. They can throw in massive amounts of money and resources without any debate, or voting. They built a bridge in 43 hours, and a hospital in 10 days. New highways, even cities are built very fast.

No one wants a one party system, but it has certain benefits.
