It is the popular-vote that - throughout the majority of democratic nations on earth - determines the Head of state.

For as long as the popular-vote is vitiated by the EC in America there can be no notion that democracy there is Fair & True ...

Hello, we don't elect presidents by popular vote. They are elected by the states and, indirectly, by the public.

    Rational folks, certainly.

It is astounding that some of the weird worshipers of one dude still cling to their fact-free dogmatic article of faith.

The lie they swallow is exposed by the reality that no Republican officeholder or prosecutor in any states has contrived any evidence to contest the election results, nor identify even a single suspect in the Loser's imaginary vast conspiracy to steal a nonsensical "Landslide!"

They parrot their baseless dogma incessantly, but why have the most worshipful of diehard Trumpies all been impotent in offering anything of substance that meets minimal credibility in any legitimate venue - even in Republican-run state administrations, legislatures, or courts presided over by Republican (and even Trump-appointed) judges?

Is it consistent that a president who was unpopular for his entire term - as confirmed by multiple independent surveys throughout - who had lost the popular vote by 2.9 million when he had won the electoral college - would be defeated by over 7 million votes when the American electorate was finally given the chance to dispose of him?

Is it not also consistent that an individual who has repeatedly raved without evidence that America's elections are "fixed!" - and even lied about 3-5 imaginary balloters all casting bogus votes against him in 2016 - would be true to his pattern and lie again when he lost in 2020?

One can be rational and assess the facts, the overwhelming empirical data, or spout the the irrational articles of faith of the weird worship of one dude.

The Loser persists in spouting his lie, and pleasuring himself with his vendettas against anyone who acknowledges the truth.
The United States has been conducting presidential elections for 232 years. No modern candidate has ever refused to accept the results and recognize the winner’s legitimacy...
[D]espite Trump’s refusal to concede, there is every indication that it was run honestly and the results tabulated accurately — a tribute to the professionalism and integrity of officials across the country.
Before Election Day, the Trump administration invited a delegation of 28 international experts from the Organization of American States, which has reported on elections around the world, to observe the vote. Its preliminary report found zero evidence of significant fraud.
Of top election officials in 49 of 50 states ...Not one, Democrat or Republican, reported “that fraud or other irregularities played a role in the outcome of the presidential race.”
...Trump’s own Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA): “the November 3rd election was the most secure in American history” and that “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”
And all but one of the 60 post-election lawsuits filed by Trump and his allies to challenge the results has failed in the courts or been withdrawn. Dozens of those cases were dismissed by conservative judges appointed by Trump or other Republicans.
The Cry Baby Loser is selfishly inflicting damage on democracy by his persistent lie. It incited his goons to savage America's proud tradition of over 200 years of peaceful transfers of power, and decent Americans find that disgusting.

This has been Trump's strategy from the beginning, even from 2016. He was quite sure he would lose that one too (and he did; he won by the incredible fluke that was built into our Constitution to mollify the slaveholding States)

In 2016 and 2020 his whole strategy was to attack the election and indeed the whole PROCESS of elections

In that way he could overturn Democracy and put either himself or his handpicked successors in charge forever

He and his family would become the ruling dynasty of the USA, just like the CAESARS became the ruling dynasty of Imperial Rome. By 2030 we would be referring to America's TRUMP instead of America's President

And he is STILL trying to do this. He is simply waiting to repeat the strategy in 2024, though then he will have a contingent of SEALs instead of loons. The present cadre of Republican Senators still hope that they will become our hereditary nobility; why else would they remain such fawning lickspittles to a disgraced and totally discredited former President.

Trump MUST be tried and convicted of Insurrection by 2024. If he is let to run again this country may very well be OVER as a Republic. At the very least we will face a very damaging Civil war.

It's also incredibly sad that it has come this far.

    A PRIME NEWS RESOURCE

Joe-Jerk has been lying all his life - it started at private school and earned him a lotta swats. But, he's thick and knows how-and-when to "obfuscate truths about his behaviour".

You don't learn how to lie when you inherit 413-megabucks from "daddy". It's later and automatic - people will kiss-yer-arse simply to become "friends".

And some people who kiss-yer-arse will believe anything & everything you say (to please you) and then they'll print it in a newspaper. They will never contradict you because you'd just shut them out - and they don't want to give up a "prime news resource".

Which is what he is and that's all he is ...

If Trump were to win in 2024 by chance, Everyone will lose. That will include you and me and we'll have to face up to it. Trump says he'll make America Great Again, It will be for himself only. Our Democracy will be dead it Trump gets in there. The Trump dictatorship will begin.

His win did draw attention to the lack of concern our political sorties place on election security, in spite of polls showing voters want it tightened up.
Many laws were illegally changed “for Covid”, that the changers had no legal right to change.
This lack of trust in voting accuracy has caused further corrosion of citizen’s trust in our institutions.

The popular vote means an end to states. Money goes where the power is. In reality there will be no reason not the divide the USA from Texas to Canada.

All I know is that I don't want Trump as President anymore. He can't be trusted

Money won't buy you the Presidency.
