The OP claims that there were more cops killed this year than any other year. That isn't a matter of opinion. It isn't "neither true nor false." It is outright false.

Yet, according to the FBI, the right has been killing more of them. And, frankly, the only time I hear the right be supportive of LEOs is when they are state/local. They don't give two shits about federal LEOs. Bring up the BLM, ATF, or FBI, and suddenly your average right winger becomes every bit as anti-cop as your average left winger.

You gotta connect some super silly stars together to draw the conclusion that people that won't play your games are X.

You don't get to be the determination of what is a valid source. Then to draw the nonsensical conclusion above...

    Get over yourself.

I've already proven that the source is empirically false. The facts don't care about your feelings.

Damn, Texas had like 14% of them by itself.

Edit: Of officers shot, not killed.

A Restaurant in San Francisco refused to serve uniformed officers. The feedback was instant and overwhelming and to the restaurants credit, they self-reflected, determined that they had made an error and apologized.

"We are grateful to all members of the force who work hard to keep us safe, especially during these challenging times."

    https://www.sfgate.com/restaurants/...sks-3-armed-San-Francisco-police-16675627.php

Interesting that while a step in the right direction, they didn't invite the officers back.

And of the lefts partisan delusions such as the that the team of Biden's and the zealots they have surrounded themselves with are even marginally competent or give a damn about anything other their unholy lust for power?

    Cities-That-Have-Defunded-the-Police-.docx32.pdf (house.gov)

    1. Austin, TX ($150 million cut) 2. Baltimore, MD ($22 million cut) 3. Boston, MA ($12 million cut) 4. Burlington, VT ($1 million cut) 5. Columbus, OH ($23 million cut) 6. Denver, CO ($55 million cut) 7. Eureka, CA ($1.2 million cut) 8. Hartford, CT ($2 million cut) 9. Los Angeles, CA ($175 million cut) 10. Madison, WI ($2 million cut) 11. Minneapolis, MN ($8 million cut) 12. New York, NY ($1 billion cut) 13. Norman, OK ($865,000 cut) 14. Oakland, CA ($14.6 million cut) 15. Oklahoma City, OK ($5.5 million cut) 16. Philadelphia, PA ($33 million cut) 17. Portland, OR ($15 million cut) 18. Salt Lake City, UT ($5.3 million cut) 19. San Francisco, CA ($120 million cut) 20.Seattle, WA ($69 million cut) 21. Steamboat Springs, CO ($1.5 million cut) 22.Washington, DC ($15 million cut)
    Total: $1.73 billion cut

The real question is: where did the $1.73B go? If it went to reversing poverty, it would prolly be a good way to address violent crime. But it prolly didn't go to reversing poverty. It prolly went toward proliferating poverty with 'entitlements' that encourage it.

Then you don't get to complain about not being taken seriously.

Fair enough. Your comment was about extremists and now you are claiming that the average rightie is as anti cop as the average left winger. Can you qualify that?

I believe it is safe to assume that when a politician claims to have a genuine concern for people (Cops, the poor, POC etc) it is nothing more than a concern for votes that lead to access to tax dollars.

You think no one noticed you cut out his request for verification of your " RWingers shoot more cops according to the FBI" claim?

Feel free to check out the forums. When have you seen a right winger talk about the BLM, ATF, or FBI favorably? Or go to a local conservative meeting and try talking about how awesome these departments are.

Okay, so your claim about the average right winger being as anti cop as the average leftie is not a fact. From what I see, support for law enforcement is an issue that divides parties.

The article this thread was based on can only be found on right leaning media.

When I saw the link to the disreputable hack site Gateway Pundit I assumed the assertion of a connection between police shootings and the Biden admin was there's. After reading it I see it's yours. Sounds like correlation without causation unless you'd like to prove that assumption wrong.

I dont know if anybody explained this before, but your ability to attack everybody else's perspectives, while rarely offering any of your own for criticism does not make yours more valid.

The OP provided stats. You don't agree with the source of the stats. Great. Provide your own that show differently.

How you going to use a report up to 2012 to draw conclusions on 2021?

The claim was 2021 was the highest ever. The report gave years with higher numbers. Where are you getting lost?

Um... which one of those years in the report are higher than 300+ deaths in 2021?

I have provided my own that show differently. When I did so, you guys started abandoning stats and instead resorting to anecdotes and feelings instead of stats. Please read the thread.

Personally, I'm more interested to see the OP provide a correlation of the stats to a causation attributable to the Biden admin.

What 300+ deaths in 2021? Did you even read the article? This is hilarious.

The reflexive support for using armed police to keep the peace does contradict many of the fundamental anti-authoritarian principles American conservatives are supposed to stand up for.
