CNN is reported to have paid him $250M. Three other fake news outlets, each settled for lesser amounts.

They can stuff their apology, pay up.

Additional lawsuits are still in progress against ABC, CBS, The Guardian, HuffPost, NPR, Slate, The Hill, and Gannett.

At 19 yrs of age, this earnest young man is well set, and he knows what lying scum the Fame News media are and he is making them pay for it.

Not to derail the thread but how do you feel about the right wing medias' treatment of David Hogg?

 

Massive difference between the two.

Hogg zealously sought out and exploited attention from the media. He took a position and is open to massive criticism as a result.

Sandmann sought no attentiion but was unilaterally attacked.

 

Who gives a damn? Just saying not to derail the thread and then going on to derail the thread does not excuse the fact that you're attempting to derail the thread in post number two.

Regardless, which positions did Hogg take that justified saying he was a crisis actor from California, that he wasnt at the school when the shooting happened, his mom was am executive at CNN etc etc?

Libel laws are different for public figures and private citizens. You have to prove actual malice toward a public figure but not toward a private citizen.

The difference would be that CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the pile on advocates, knew in advance from the complete recording of the event, that their characterization of Sandman was fictitious up front.
They had the entire video clearly showing Sandman was not in any way attacking anyone, yet the leftist media knowingly falsely portrayed him as a white supremist attacking a native American.

This fake news piece provoked millions to respond to the Covington Catholic kids as all racist and hundreds of death threats to a 16 year old who had nothing to do with anything.

 

What are they falsely accusing him of?
