The continually dished it out against Trump and his supporters for 4 years Non-Stop and now they want to cry about it I really don't want to hear it because I don't give a damn.

Now... they want to cry about "respect for the office".....huhhh... As if!

 

Respect is earned, not arbitrarily given. It's impossible to respect the office, when you don't respect the occupants.

 

I think Trump was a jerk and unpresidential. It’s unfortunate that he was elected because our country is intensely divided and Jan 6 should never have happened.

I care more about my country than I care about Donald Trump or Joe Biden, but being rude to Biden while he is wishing your kid Merry Christmas because people were mean to Trump is pathetic. There is no excuse for the man’s behavior. It’s the biggest holiday in the country, the most scared holiday to Christians, and he did it in front of his own kid.

Well I'm of the firm belief that if you're going to be nice and kind and civil to people you should probably do it every day of the year not just set aside a special day.

Now that being said the way I am is I give people a chance to be all they can be.

If someone is polite and courteous to me they will receive the same in return but if someone comes at me sideways for no good reason I come back swinging twice as hard

This was done publicly and it was done on Christmas Eve just as families were gathering after a disastrous 1st year of Brandon.

It also exposes the media who have desperately tried to paint Biden in a positive light.

 

So if liberals ever called a Christmas truce to refrain from insulting Trump I must have missed it. Or is it that Liberals now demand sanctity for the heathen God Wotan aka Santa?

It isn’t about all liberals or all conservatives, and nobody is making all these conservatives come online and defend this man, but that’s what is happening. So again it’s not about all liberals or all conservatives, but if you are taking the time to defend this, then it is about you as a conservative.

 

But Biden came out of this looking good (even if he didn't know what the slogan meant) because he seemed good natured. His wife looked like she knew but she took the high road (classy move). The caller looked bad, actually.

 

Biden's handlers thought the Santa tracking event was something that even Joe Biden could not F up.

And, what, you think everybody just went after Trump? He insulted his opponents in ways that went far beyond the line of accepted political debate and social norms. The guy dished it out left and right. He had crowds chanting to lock people up and send them back, but here we are on Christmas, and people say that because people were so mean to Trump insulting the current president in this capacity is fair game? It makes no damn sense. Biden did nothing to this man or his kid.

What you fail to acknowledge is that our society has been in the process of decline with respect to civility for some time. It is what it is. Don't expect Kid Gloves for Biden here on PF. When did I say it was OK to insult Trump or flip Trump off? It’s sad to see somebody quote the Bible like they are a Christian, and then defend hating a person for apparently being in the White House.
