Democrats caused the 2008 financial crisis, by fundamentally refusing to regulate GSE's, such as Fannie and Freddie, which was fundamental to the crash. Democrats also caused the recession in 2020 by locking down their states and skyrocketing the national unemployment. Democrats have been largely responsible for the last two recessions. So, no, they are terrible for the economy.

No, I would be calling senile. Doesn’t matter, you said he didn’t, I said he did, you were wrong. He tried to outside of the constitution and I’m sure the Supreme Court will agree.

Somehow, whenever I take a trip through California I never see the California that right wing propaganda is always harping on about. Catch and release? Is that like three strikes and you're out? It has been years of Republican rule that has made California's criminal justice system so onerous.

Colorado has always been far more liberal than California. By design. It is why the Denver/Boulder/Longmont/Fort Collins area is perhaps the most liberal part of the country. Colorado is structurally liberal and the founding fathers must have been quite liberal as religious instruction, as well as racial segregation, in public schools have been constitutionally forbidden since the beginning. It was the first state to give women full voting rights. Colorado was the first state to decriminalize marihuana and then the first to legalize it. Colorado has done more to place restrictions upon their police in response to the well publicized abuses by the police than any other state. In the sixties, Colorado was an epicenter for hippies and the feminist movement as well as the interest in healthy and organic food. Colorado has long had some of the best schools in the country, and until Obama Care came along had one of the better public health care systems. Liberal America looks a lot like the Colorado Front Range - not the silliness that Right wing propaganda has been pumping into your head for years. Here in Beaverton, a suburb of Portland, it isn't a whole lot different than the suburbs surrounding Denver. Not at all like what Right-wing propaganda has you believing..

I've been wrong before, the real revelation here is no matter what President Biden says YOU'RE going to find fault with him. President Biden's vaccing mandate hasn't been to the Supreme Court, yet, so there's not way you can say, "he tried to go outside the Constitution".

    Stating facts, sir.

Democrats blocked any regulation of GSE's, including the quasi-governmental GSE's of Fannie and Freddie, which was fundamental to the crash and the resulting recession in 2008. And Democrat governors locked down their economies in 2020, which caused a recession. Thus, the Democrats caused the last two recessions.

You mean it would have been better for Americans to be unemployed under a Republican POTUS?

    Of course.

Behind the success of a Democratic POTUS, there is always the extraordinary work in the shadows of Republican elected officials....

No, the economy had nowhere to go but up when it's in the cellar, no matter if Obama did nothing. But later his policies determine how fast it will rise and the kind of jobs it will create. Obama decided to put on world record corporate taxes and near record regulations and that put a heavy burden on business to the point many couldn't compete in a new industrial world economy, causing the lose of hundreds of thousands of good paying manufacturing jobs. Replace by millions of low paying service and part time jobs.

The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

The economy might have done better if Obama had just left it alone and risen by it's self. His policies of high taxes and regulations only made America noncompetitive in the world.

As I said charts don't come close to telling the story of how well or bad the economy did under any administration, unless you know the facts. The Democrats are experts at giving you only the facts they want you to know.

It certainly proves that not all people take advantage of their intelligence and education. I sometimes think common sense has escaped the current generations.

Wait till you see the next one! Four day school weeks with most of it online pretend study with google search as the answer guide to exams :) Children here hardly went to school all of 2020, and were pushed through to make room for the next group that was being pushed through to make room or the next group to be pushed thru, get my point :)

I guess one silver lining is the DNC won't have to rely on uneducated illegals to pick berries in the future there will be plenty of uneducated young covid era Americans to finally replace them ;)

On the economy and jobs, Democrats have done better than Republicans for 35 years.

Of the 20 poorest states in the country, 18 are red states.

And you expect me to believe that Republicans can teach anyone?
