DOJ raises stakes with rarely used sedition charges for Oath Keepers

The seditious conspiracy charges brought by the Justice Department on Thursday against the leader of the Oath Keepers and other members of the right-wing group signal the government is prepared to take on an ambitious fight to show that they joined the Jan. 6, 2021, attack as part of a coordinated effort to deny President Biden the White House.

The indictment contains the first sedition charges that have been brought following the riot and mark a significant escalation in prosecutors’ efforts by drawing a connection between the physical acts of mayhem that day and the broader effort by former President Trump’s supporters to obstruct Biden from taking office.

The Trumpists who claimed that 1/6 had nothing to do with overthrowing democracy because no one was charged with sedition will have to find something else.

Finally and the strategy made sense. Knew it was a matter of time. My guess? We're not done still. The plea deals will probably be made to get Republicans into trouble too. They'll name drop key leaders who don't enjoy protections and get them into trouble too, until all the details become clear.

This is just confirmation that we have a politicized DoJ that is actively pursuing the criminalization of political disagreements. They responded to their political masters in the leftist media exactly as would a well-trained pet told to "sit" or "roll over". They were urged to find someone to charge with sedition, regardless of how flimsy the case is or whether it ultimately fails in court or not, and they did.

Yes, I thought that was clear from my previous post. I think virtually none of the tens of thousands of protesters who gathered in DC had any sort of a plan or intention to "overthrow democracy" that day. They were certainly angry, many of them wanted to express that anger to their Congressional representatives, but that's more like petitioning the government for a redress of their grievances than a real attempt to "overthrow democracy". And the more leftists carry on with their absurd hyperbole around "January 6th" the more laughable the whole narrative becomes, and not just to me and my fellow conservatives. Independents are seeing through the ruse now too.

When you prepare 10 identical indictments for 10 different people, it means your indictments aren't worth the paper they are written on. Its nothing but cannon fodder for those on the left that don't know any better. Just another leftist hoax trying to sway voters.

In order for an indictment to be enforceable, you have to make every claim in the indictment or the indictment fails. Which is why every real indictment is exclusive to an individual. They wrote a single indictment and attached 10 names to it. Only the less fortunate mentally will fall for this idiocy.

The good news is 90% of Americas won't buy into it as they have all seen this hoax before with claims of having evidence in hand only to be dashed on the rocks of reality once its time to put it in front of a judge.
