So you are suggesting that our founding fathers really thought states out to receive $0 if Congress deems it so? Seems like they really liked the idea of big government don't you think?

Here's a homework lesson for you. Congress was able to enact speed limit laws through their ability to regulate interstate commerce and because those funds were tied to specific federal programs like transport. For funds to be legally withheld, it has to be withheld to areas that are directly related to the federal program that will or will not be implemented. If we use your speed limit example, Congress restricted access to highway funds, and not access to other federal funds.

Courts have already ruled cuts cannot be so great that they are coercive, which this bill certainly would be. So Congress was able to enact speed limit laws due to the commerce clause. What clause gives congress the right to regulate state and local elections?

Really?? They shouldn't be allowed to vote at all!! They are non-citizens!!

Man I can't believe how bad the corruption has become. So them voting in state and local elections is ok but not national election? Why?

With the Democrat party giving them free healthcare, housing, food cards, and whatever else, who do you think they're going to vote for??

The law should be you have to be a TAX PAYING CITIZEN to be eligible to vote. No matter if your black, yellow, brown, white.
It's pretty upsetting to see how badly we are divided, as long as your side wins it's ok right??

Am I the only one who sees how dangerous this is for our country?

Nevermind, keep fighting amongst yourselves it's working out perfectly.
    For the politicians.

Our Founding Father's would never have welcomed illegals into our country and then rewarded them with FREE healthcare, FREE housing, food stamp cards, etc... and then said, Hey guys, how about voting for our leaders, state or otherwise... FAIRLY.

    You're really ok with this?

Our Founding Father's created a system, Yes everyone is welcome, but there is a process you have to go through.

Imagine now the side you OPPOSE doing this.

    Still ok with it?

    Once Pandora's Box is open...

If states ignore the laws, yes they should be disqualified from federal funding.

Be funny seeing all the people of California, NY, Illinois, engage in massive civil disobedience, by not paying their Federal taxes if this happens.

Go ahead, try and stop us. :)

More hypocrisy from the GOP who claim States rights every chance they get, unless they don't like what the state is doing.
More Fed gov't involvement in States business, big brother GOP is watching.

See a partisan, see a hypocrite.

Do you not understand the difference between a city election and a presidential election?
There's a huge difference between them.

Best check yourself, I have never voiced or posted a complaint about legal immigration! In fact all my lineage migrated here legally and sponsored, so that accusation is far from accurate and somewhat insulting Ron :(

State elections. Not just city. Many cities, in Democrat held areas, already allow voting for non-citizens. Some are pushing to allow non-citizens to vote in statewide elections.

And that is how it rolls. Starts small. Local city elections having to do with school boards, then goes city wide, now they're pushing for statewide. Eventually they will push for federal.

But do you know the difference between federal and city?

Federal laws often have little effect on the general populace, particularly on the individual level. The only time it really affects the general populace is when it pushes wide ranging changes. Such as ACA for example.

City laws however have a much more direct effect on the local populace than federal laws. As such in a way that is actually more of a concern for the individual than federal elections.

Are you against States rights. And which states are you referring to.
As long as they only vote on State issues, not national offices, so what? It is within the states right to do so. Just like each state sets their ID requirements to register.

But if you want a National law to run all of our elections, I think the Dems right now have a proposal.

Yes, city laws have a much larger affect on the people. So let the cities decides who votes on city issues. If there's a large population here legally but not citizens, it's up to them to let them to vote. Afterall, IDs will still be needed to vote.

The GOP is on the right track here. No federal funds for foreigners to vote in our elections.

Morning Consult: Biden’s below Trump in voters’ first-year report card.

"Notably, Trump had almost the entire news media, along with pretty much every other institution in America from the FBI to the FDA, working against him."

For Biden’ it’s a 24/7 tongue bath from the media "he’s still tanking compared to Trump."

It was nice to have a president with a brain.

"Biden’s setting his hair on fire over issues that don’t concern voters while ignoring the fires of inflation and its impact on households across the country. At the same time, his mandates and CDC guidelines requiring testing to access public services and spaces have run into Biden’s failure to boost testing production and created a de facto shutdown that puts consumers right back in the April 2020 paradigm. His presidency is a disaster, and the only thing keeping his polling from utter collapse is a sympathetic media industry" and their endless tongue baths.

Who thinks that? Provide a source. It is not what some average joe on the street thinks that has any bearing on immigration. Nowhere does it say in immigration policy as it is written at present "too many non-whites are coming into the country''.

He wanted to lower the number for uneducated immigrants and raise the number for higher educated immigrants. I guess you could interpret that as less South American Immigrants and more Indian and European Immigrants.

What's wrong with that? You already have 30 million illegal aliens in the country and a Congress not willing to act on the dreamers. (both partys)
