Those looking to politicians/government for advice on their own health are in big trouble. Covid was the straw that killed the sick camel. I know I am just a random guy on the internet, but I strongly recommend maintaining a healthy weight, daily exercise, and not consuming processed foods or pharma products.

You made a comment about saving beds in the ER for heart attacks. The majority of heart attacks are the result of a poor diet and lack of exercise. When I was in school (70s-80s) There was always one fat kid. When I picked my kids up from school, I saw many fat kids. 1/3 of Americans are diabetic or pre-diabetic.

Also, being old is not the main factor. Many seniors in their 80s got Covid and had mild symptoms and a full recovery. These are the seniors we see at the gym and on the hiking trails.

Good health is your best bet. Unfortunately, there is no profit in good health. Food giants and big pharma need people consuming government subsidized foods so they can use their record profits to buy politicians.

Yep. That is correct. Even my own doctor told me he is thinking about doing similar, not seeing patients in the office who refuse to take the vaccine. I would be very glad if he did that. It would certainly keep me safer.

So, if you don't want to get vaccinated, at least you know what you're up against. So sorry, but your rights end where they infringe on my right to safety and health.

3. Regular consumption of excessively salty, fatty, or sugary foods.
4. Motorcycle riding.
5. Driving or riding in a car.
6. Mountain biking.
7. Skiiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, ice kiting.
8. Excessive alcohol consumption.
9. Surfing.
10. Walking at night in big cities run by Democrats.
11. Doinking another man's wife.
12. Traveling to China.
13. Playing golf without a helmet.
14. Mountain climbing.
15. Attending a "peaceful protest."

17. Using swimming pool equipment as sex toys.

Unvaccinated kids sometimes get the disease they are suppose to fight against. Should their parents have to pay out of pocket too?
People that smoke, drink or use drugs to excess also present at the ER for various after-effects of what they've consumed.

A couple years ago, one of my neighbor's adult daughters ran down the hall screaming her head off. I couldn't even understand what she was saying. I got her to slow down so I could figure out what had happened. She said that she and her wife were visiting her mom and her wife collapsed. They got her to the sofa and the paramedics arrived. The daughter said that she didn't know what was wrong and was just hysterical. I had to hold her back so they could try to save the woman's life. They were in there about an hour to stabilize her for transport to the hospital.

Well, come to find out, the daughter lied. The paramedics had tried various things to revive her and they gave her a medication that ONLY reacts to heroin in the system. The daughter and mother and mother's teenage daughter all claimed the had no idea what happened when she collapsed at the table and they played dumb when the paramedics told them they were lying (he was nicer about it). They were evicted over that incident and they evicted the mom (different apartment) about a month later.

And, aren't we the lucky ones? They were on Medicaid so we all get to pay for her treatment.


So, unless you plan on facing a lawsuit for discrimination, and can survive without paying for health insurance, we ALREADY foot the bill for when the wanna-be Darwin Award recipients end up in a hospital or ED.

 

Yes, eating to many big Mac's is bad for your health....you would be a science denier to think otherwise.. .... and you would be taking up a hospital bed to fix your clogged arteries and shivering heart when a person would deny science and not eat right and exercise... and yes you and bx4 should pay for your own open heart surgery because you have total disregard for other folks needs of a hospital bed... how selfish of you two...

This isn't going to happen anyway, Even back before it was mandated by law I can't think of any hospital that would turn away really sick people. You don't go into medicine if you're like that Doctor in Atlas Shrugged.

I grayed out the pontificating bs, but the last part I will address. Yes, not everyone gets sick or dies, but we already know for a fact that not being vaccinated increases your odds of getting it and succumbing to it based on a whole host of factors that we are still trying to figure out. If you really believe you're that superhuman, or that lucky, be my guest and don't get the jab, but since most people who believe in that magical thinking won't stay home and away from the rest of us, you are putting everyone else in danger.
