While there may be some truth to that, it would behoove you to pay attention to the fact that a red wave already happened in recent elections, Biden's approval numbers are very dismal, only 28% want him to run again, and Democrats themselves are already jumping off the Titanic because even they believe a red wave is coming at the midterms.

Since the voting rights bill didn't get anywhere certain voters will be suppressed according to Democrats speaking on news channels so why should those certain voters bother voting? If I was one of those voters I would stay home after hearing who difficult it will be to vote.

Yes, he is very dangerous, because he is so weak and mentally diminished. It looks like the War Mongers, who were so eager to swap Biden for Trump are backing us into a war with Nuclear Armed Russia over Ukraine.

Unlike the MAGA's I debate with here, I have no problem with the House or Senate being controlled at one time or another by the GOP.

Especially since the Congressional voting system is so advantageous to the Republicans.

Power sharing is essential in a democracy.

But for the Presidency, good luck.

Because there is no demographic parameter that favors the Conservatives.

    None.

That's the problem with Biden. His statements are confusing enough even when they are controlled via teleprompter.

When he goes off the cuff, you can see how his words can cause a major international diplomatic disaster.

The point of the presser yesterday was to show Biden was sharp and high energy and could speak directly to press.

What actually happened was from every angle a disaster. Even top dems like Axlerod say this.

These problems will happen again next time is left to the media.

    Yup.
    Everybody KNOWS the Plan.

The GOP Uses the 2022 Midterms as a "Dry-Run" to set up stealing the 2024 Election.
Everybody KNOWS that is the Master Plan.

Well, you managed to finally get a prediction right, AJ. That's what the GOP did.

First, Biden drove up prices all over the place making him look like an economic disaster. Then Biden provided the Afghanistani warlords almost unlimited arms as he abandoned the country making him look like a military buffoon. Oh, and his giving the green light to Putin? The increased Covid deaths? His approval ratings in the tank? Shortages on shelved? Screwing up oil production so that prices went even higher? Now, I don't know HOW the GOP played Biden like a violin so well that he did all of that but somehow it worked. I mean, almost everyone out there with two brain cells would see what Biden accomplished and might say "Well golly, Biden's doing his own party in!" - but gosh, you darn well figured it out - it's gotta be ANYONE ELSES fault but Biden!

On second thought, maybe the GOP doesn't need to do anything but let Biden be Biden in order to win. And all Biden's followers - all they need to do is keep blindly following and approving every little thing Biden says and does.

So I guess all that's left to say to you and FreshAir is, on behalf of all conservatives and RW-ers everywhere - keep up the good work.

My apologies, I coulda phrased that better. I meant to say it as, well I consider you the go-to poster here when it comes to foreign relations, especially when it comes to Russia - and what the correct read on the situation is.

This was totally separate from my other line about our liberal friends who blindly follow what their leader said - to them, if Biden says hey, it's just a TINY incursion, it'll be all right folks, no malarky! - then they agree 110%!

No way did I mean to equate you with them!

2020 was the dry run, republicans saw how Trump failed to steal the election from the people and tried to change that to make it easier next time

So AJ, how is it that at 1:37 PST you say you only speak for yourself and at 2:58 PST in the very same thread you speak for "Everybody"?

How does that work? Besides badly, I mean.

Be it ever so humble, my opinion of Biden as president is: I am among the 5% of citizens that judge Biden as having surpassed my good expectations. I voted for Biden because of two main reasons: (a) he has decades of pertinent experience in D.C. so he knows the ropes and can get things done; i.e. he is a seasoned veteran, and (b) his name isn't Donald J. Trump. Biden might have only 43% approval right now but if you include all the folks that are America's overseas allies, Biden is a whole lot better liked than Trump ever was. Trump alienated this country's allies and went so far as to embrace tyrants like Kim Jung Un, Vlad Putin and that guy in Hungary(?). Yea, Biden is a godsend.

Biden Blows Up US Foreign Policy just as the mid terms swing into full gear.

Hoo boy: There's no such thing as a "minor incursion," tweets Ukrainian president

Biden hinted "that there’d be few repercussions so long as the incursion was “minor.”

"Five minutes earlier, at the same press conference" he warned "that the midterm elections won’t be legitimate."
    Biden is a complete dumbass.

Oh my God you are dangerously undermining democracy by casting doubts in the security of our election system.

It's rigged I tell you it's rigged everybody knows it!!!

AP poll: Nearly half of all Americans question Biden's mental fitness for the job

    Well that won't help.

54% disaprove is high .. 40% approve is Low .. basically you have the hardcore left ~ 30% who are going to nod like sheep at anything Blue .. + 10% who don't think Biden is a complete moron

30% on the right who are going to disaprove no matter what .. + a whopping 24% in the middle giving the nod .. and another 6% - that don't care

Things could get ugly in the mid term if this keeps up.

And yet we are to believe this bozo got the most votes in the history of this nation if that's true what the hell does it say about the collective intelligence of the nation?

I hope there was fraud because otherwise it doesn't say much, I mean it does but none of it good

Latest CNN poll shows Biden is losing the election all by himself. No one needs to steel anything.

Ummmm, well there is the demographic that 25% of the country identify themselves as liberal, 33% independent, and 33% conservative. Add to that recent polling which also shows more people leaning to the R's than to the D's in the upcoming midterms, the largest swing in polling history.

Neither major party’s base will decide who controls what after November. Neither is large enough. It will be independents who decide. As long as Biden and company are perceived by independents as ignoring what these swing voters view as this nation’s most important problem in favor of only pleasing the Democratic base, the Democrats are in trouble.

I don’t think it’s a case of Biden abandoning the Democrats, it’s a case of ignoring the large voting block that independents make up, 40% of the electorate in favor of the Democratic base. According to Gallup, independents gave Biden a 55% job approval in June, but that’s down to 32% today. Why? I think it simply because of Biden pushing what the Democratic base wants while ignoring independents concerns. Ignoring them has caused a huge shift in party affiliation. That was caused by independents which lean toward one party or the other. Independents who leaned Republican rose from 15% in Jan 2021 to 19% of the electorate in Jan 2022. While independents who lean Democratic fell from 19% in Jan 2021 down to 14% today. Not a good sign for the democrats. But a result of ignoring independents in favor only of the democrat’s base.
