    Agree with all these.

Some of you don't seem to understand the basics of what is going on. First, Putin and Russia doesn't give a **** if Ukraine joins the EU. I mean good luck to the EU, as they will have a fresh round of homeless and welfare leeches in Western Europe with the open border.

Second, Ukraine has been in a civil war since 2014 because of the US orchestrated coup. IF Ukraine is admitted into NATO while it is at war with the separatists in the Donbass, the moment they are Kiev will go into the Donbass to slaughter every ethnic Russian in sight. A LOT of those ethnic Russians hold Russian passports, i.e., they are dual citizens. So if Kiev attacked the Donbass and by-passed the Minsk Agreements (the Peace Treaty that they haven't took the first step to abide by since 2015), it will effectively be an attack on Russia and Russia will surely respond, at which time the midget Jew Zelensky will invoke article 5 of NATO and thus, WW3 ensues.

Ukraine is a nothing country...the armpit of Europe...with a leader that has an alligator mouth and a puppy dog ass. That's not the kind of country you want in NATO because they'll just start **** and then rely on the US to bail them out and fight their wars. After all, NATO is just 90% the US. If the US wasn't in NATO, then Zelensky would have adhered to the Minsk Agreements. If the US wasn't so damn stupid, then DC would know that Zelensky is playing us for billions in foreign aid.

Furthermore, 'Ukraine' didn't exist until Vladimir Lenin created it out of thin air (and the Russian Empire) by drawing a random line on a map. So you can thank the Bolsheviks for this latest cluster.

Just think if Israel was in NATO. Same thing.

So? Most Tomahawks don't carry nuclear warheads.

Pretty good for an armpit and nothing country to send up a rocket/satellite recently into space from US.

That same "armpit" built the Russki ACC Kuznetzoff that Russkis ****ed up and now sits in some half froze harbor....is the crane removed off the flight deck that crashed back in 2019?

How you know if every Russki will get whacked in DPR....carski....lots of those residents are Russian speaking Ukranians...I'm sure you're aware of that ,but you still choose to blow $hit out your ass.

    Russian passports I hear...according to who....RT,Sputnik, $hithouse wall?

Those 500k "passports" are dubious since no one is able to verify accurately.

They can surely reach well into Russian territory.

Both these Japanese cities survived and thrived after the war.
Radiation is low or lower than most other places in Japan. The
infrastructure did ok. Not like cities which were fire bombed.
Tokyo suffered the total destruction of infrastructure, above and
below ground. And more casualties too.
The Hiroshima nuclear strike did one percent of the total war
damage to Japan, Nagasaki was another one percent.

Small pox blankets? Is that what the Africans gave Europeans?
Or how the Mongols spread the black death by catapaulting bodies
    over city walls?
The first machine guns scandalized people. I remember an old
Western where the good folk took their carriage mounted gun and
shoved it off a cliff - to banish the world of such fiendish devices.

Amazing how much conservatives are truly in LOVE with wholesale DEATH. Not just MILLIONS but BILLIONS

One question, how would we BURY that many? Not all would be incinerated, most would die from famine later but what do you do with several BILLION corpses? All of them rotting and causing even MORE disease

It wouldn't be the Book of Eli. The girls left wouldn't be that pretty, Where would you get ammunition for the guns and gasoline for the cars?

Yeh, and these are the people who go crazy about the "unborn" But if they're not in somebody else's body, hey, who cares?

IIRC they have a 1,500 mile range. So they could reach well into Russian territory from over 1,000 miles away.

A nuclear war between major powers is not remotely similar to Hiroshima Nagasaki .

Sure... maybe... we don't know what the next nuclear war will look like.
My issue is the way Hiroshima and Nagasaki were a tad exaggerated,
and the Tokyo Fire Bombing, the worse bombing in history, is forgotten.

The book of Ezekiel, chapter 38,39, speaks of a second return of the Jewish people to Israel, this time from
all over the world, from nations that were their 'graves' and they would take back their nation with the sword
    and rebuild the ruined landscape.
This was an absurd story to the Jews who were in captivity in Babylon - a second time? What about a first
    time?
But there's a battle there between Israel and her unamed ally in the coastland or islands, fighting against
enemies of the Middle East and Magog - from the 'uttermost north'. Ezekiel says the burial of enemies will
take seven years. People will fan out acros the landscrape, setting up markers for the dead. Others will follow
    and bury them.

ps in the 20th century the mega death were not conservatives but radicals of the left and the right - the Fascists
    and Communists.

Hiro/Nag were not ground bursts -- far less contamination - don't have to wait 20 years .. as in the case of a ground burst.

Second thing is that the folks in the Hiroshima contamination zone - could get away from the zone of contamination - which is not the case in a fullout Russia - USA nukefest. Nowhere to go .. and you don't know where if there was a place safe .. no communication - no power - electronics fried - gas gone -- hope its not winter..

Where do you go ? Everywhere is contaminated .. have to get in a basement -- hunker down for a month before you can venture outside .. but you are outside .. getting away from the really hot blast zone - and make sure to run upwind . which wont do you any good cause another went off upwind ...and is comming your direction

Then you have to figure out where to hunker down .. and how you are going to find bottled water .. cause can't drink any other water .. all contaminated. .. and if you do have a stash . better hide it good ... cause worth far more than gold .. a matter of life or death for people to get at that water you stashed away .. and they are seaching every house .. some have some nasty radiation sickness already .. searching for food and water in the zombie apocalypse ..

Never mind "They" are searching ever house .. if you are one of "Them" fleeing the blast zone -- your searching every house too .. Kill or be killed .. "Fa Real" :)

NATO members regularly conduct exercises. Nobody wants a military alliance that could result in 1 or all 20 or so of the participants' forces deployed on their border in such a strategic location. Crimea is to Russia as Panama is to the US. It's ok for either to be sovereign. But it's a strategically unacceptable situation to have any foreign forces in the area.

So then take back Easter Europe. That will give you 'security' against the rest of the world.
The best security is to stop being a dictatorship and trust your democratic neighbors, be
they Japan, Sth Korea, France, Finland, Turkey (no, not Turkey) ....
All dictatorships need enemies. All failed states need wars.

Why clash with conventional forces for a few years when we could probably achieve the same results in the same time period by allowing them to overextend themselves, and carefully choose to attack and resist where they are weak?

The only way Russia can occupy Europe is if they neuter American power by emerging victorious in an all out clash. If we avoid that clash, they don't have the ability to occupy any significant portion of Europe indefinitely.

Russians don't trust. Europeans have wrecked them several times from the west, and the Mongols from the east. The paranoia in their national psyche is justifiable.

I don't agree with Putin hijacking the chance Russia had to be a democracy. But that doesn't automatically mean he has imperial ambitions.

You can't convince me that foreign troops on Ukranian soil isn't a major security threat to Russia.
Yes, they should be worried about China. That's why I suggest this course to get Russia in our camp.

They were admitted before Putin could do anything. It's still a security risk, but not like Ukraine, because of the access to the sea element.

Without looking into it - I suspect there's some Fruedian in the manner Russians count how many nations have invaded
them. Wonder how many times Poland has been invaded, and many of them by Russia itself. Russia is still an empire -
    perhaps the last European empire.

Well...you can't convince those that were once Soviet satellites that having the Russki right next door isn't a security threat either. There aren't any takers to the Russians.

The Russkis offered up NO guarantees....what incentive should NATO have to do so.

That was tried once in getting the Russki on board....it didn't go well....reasons are numerous.

It'll be a hard security risk if Russia invades....
