Poll: Nearly 6 in 10 Republicans say they will not vote for any candidate who admits Biden won 'fair and square'

Despite a mountain of evidence showing the 2020 presidential contest wasn’t rigged against Donald Trump, nearly 6 in 10 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (57 percent) now say they will not vote in upcoming elections for any candidate who admits that Joe Biden won the presidency "fair and square."

Only 17 percent say they would consider voting for a candidate who accurately characterizes Biden’s victory as legitimate.

These numbers underscore the degree to which Trump’s “big lie” claiming Biden cheated his way into the White House — a falsehood that three-quarters of Trump voters (74 percent) now believe — has become a litmus test for the entire GOP, crowding out other issues and strengthening Trump’s grip on the party ahead of the 2022 midterms.

It's amazing how much impact one bloated orange liar and a sustained disinformation campaign from the alt-right and right-wing media can have on folks, isn't it? There is no more Republican Party. Instead, we have a splintered party of Trump loyalists, cowards who won't speak the truth out of fear for their own hides, and those few who will still tell the truth. Those few have no place in Trump's party, and make no mistake -- it is his party now. It's too late to save it from him.

"Fair and square" is subjective. What to you is "fair and square"?

I personally meet the criteria you espouse. I watch Fox News as well as Fox Nation and I am a follower of Jesus you might say is Evangelical. Both "Bad things" for the globalist left. However, it is not Donald Trump I espouse. It is his America First Policies. I want no more illegal immigrants imported in the dead of night into the interior, unvaccinated and unvetted. In fact, I want them all deported. I want American energy independence once again. I want respect for police, and respect once again for the rule of law. I want it recognized there are two genders, male and female as it was in the beginning. I want 1619, and CRT training as well as other Marxist influences removed from education.
Schools are not for "Social Equity Training". That is a parental job. Find a leader that supports these ideals and they have my support. Currently, Trump is the only one that takes on the leftist press and has the stones to do it. A lot might change in 3 years. Good young leaders are coming up!

You would have to be a Fox viewer and follower of the non-existent Abrahamic deity to believe in the "globalist left." Sad.

You would have to be devoid of common sense to claim a mountain of evidence that the elections wasn't rife with fraud. You should know it is impossible to prove a negative. The evidence is all on the side of fraud. You can close your eyes to it. I don't care. But you can't claim a mountain of evidence for a negative. I do care about that.

I'm not a fox viewer, nor do I follow any religion. Yet the left DOES express globalist viewpoints. But only those in the far left category.

Republican leaders have identified a group that operate on blind faith irrespective of fact or logic and turned them into very reliable voters.
I would feel pity on them if what they pushed wasn’t so evil and immoral.

    That makes sense psychologically.

White people will ostracize a neighbor that sells their house to a non-white person.

Christian people stand in judgment against anybody of a different religion and agnostics and atheists.

Many elected officials have voted for segregation and against civil rights while having affairs and siring kids with non-white women.

Many people hire illegal immigrants for cheaper labor while voting against them having a pathway to citizenship.

There is a whole network of people in the upper echelon involved in human trafficking. Gaetz is the only one that voted against that.

Why would group bullying be any different in politics? Either do what we want you to do or face the silence of complete rejection.

So what is your problem with Fox, besides “the enemy watches it”. The rest of cable news is laughable. Do you believe Hunter Biden’s lap top is a Russian plant? CNN and MSNBC treat it as one.

Funny how you touch on all the leftist talking points while not once naming one thing negative about the left. All while using broad brush strokes.

Count me in on that... Any Republican who claims that there was "no widespread election fraud" (or a variation thereof) with regard to the November 2020 "elections" will not be receiving my vote.

I'm done with RINOs... I want people who stand for MAGA / America First policies. IOW, I want conservatives. I want people who represent MY interests, not the interests of career politicians and multinational corporations.

Trump understood that time is the most expensive resource, and the swamp was used to thwart the inaction of new laws as if they were a fourth branch of government.
As a government we elect risk adverse thumb twiddlers and then whine because they don’t do anything.

I don't watch Fox. I am not a follower of an Abrahamic or any other sort of deity. And I believe in a global left. So your assertion is false.

why are those on the right attempting to stop those on the left from obtaining voter ID's??

if a person is a US citizen, has a social security number, not a convicted felon and over 18

that person should be allowed to vote

    This survey is extraordinary.

    It's really good news.

Trumpism will infect the campaign of any GOP candidate in 2024.

The Electoral College voted Biden in ... as Trump people were so fond of reminding everyone in 2016 - the popular vote doesn't matter - funny how
    they forgot that chant.

How does this answer my question? Oh right, it doesn't.

Since @Durandal seems to be avoiding the question maybe you can answer it. Although if you expected the above to be an answer I won't be expecting too much. But I'll give ya another chance.

fine with a national voting id that never expires, bring it on - just make sure it's free to voters - no pay to play

You kinda had me up until here. Fair enough. Maybe doable.
Nope. You are done. Only extremist leaders like Trump will appeal to that kind of thinking - but when your primaries populist boy starts braying his cult material to the other 60% of the population the room will empty.

Gerrymandering, 'stop the steal' and seditious plots are the only way forwards for the likes of you.
