Under the statue of Christ in Spain appeared a giant poster with the faces of Stalin and Lenin.

I think it was a forced and justified measure. And what would you do if the counterrevolutionary law presupposes capital punishment?

    They did.
But you excused the actions of the people who were killing others on an industrial level by saying that they just followed the law, even though they were the ones who wrote that law.

Either your ancestors came under repression (which cannot be ruled out, given your background), or you do not understand the cause and effect

Jesus was a Socialist, so maybe this is a message from God, part of God's plan?

I'll try to explain it to you differently. There is a law that says that counter-revolutionary activities are prosecuted, eventually there will be the death penalty. What is the Soviet government? Soviet power is the power of the people, it means - the population of the Soviet Union. When someone tries to overthrow the Soviet government, this someone goes against the power of the people. As for the supreme military authority, in particular Tukhachevsky, this is not only counter-revolutionary activity, it is also de-information of the supreme authority regarding the state of affairs of the army in the pre-war period. Consider it a tribunal. Cruel? Yes. What was to be done? Send them to Siberia to eat ice? To cut down the forest? Feed them at the same time? From the hands of those whose power they wanted to overthrow? No. Justified? Justified. Were there any kinks in terms of the decisions of the same *******s Ezhov and Yagoda? Yes, there were. Their mistakes were later recognized and corrected by Beria. But in general, 3.27% of the total population of the USSR was subjected to repression. Whereas in the UK, including in the colonies (even in particular, otherwise the howling will begin now) - 80.2%

Marx never wrote laws, suggested genocide or mass killing.
And in those days capital punishment was the norm. Whoever was in power used it to reduce the challenge to their position.
Calling Stalin and Lenin "Marxists" is inaccurate. They shadowed the Nazi far right processing of minorities such as ghettos, camps, torture and extermination. Like nazis, political opposition assured capital punishment.
As I said, marx wasn't bothered about HOW the socio-econmic revolution happened. He cared about a more equitable population where class was irrelevant.

Well, an entire branch of my family faced the firing squad by the Bolsheviks, they were probably included in one of these notes that Stalin approved and I do not think anyone with intact sanity can support treating their own citizens like that. Only under communism these atrocities seem to be a requirement.

Really? Did Stalin win some elections? I didn’t see people having much say in anything in the USSR.

Please provide signed copies of orders that condemn thousands of people to death in Ukraine by Ukrainian forces.
This little paper condemned 11,000 (ELEVEN THOUSAND) people to death:
    D77272D6-273D-4F71-AAAC-8B16C07FA5D6.jpeg

No names, no causes, just a little note saying - hey, we caught 11,000 people and we want to shot them. Can we shoot them, pretty please? Grandpa Stalin wrote “Approved” and put his blessing in the form of the signature that looks like Latin capital letter “G”. He was a generous guy and kept Bolsheviks happy.

One example - In 1940, Ford refused to assemble engines for aircraft of England at war with Germany, while in the French city of Poissy, his new plant began to produce aircraft engines, trucks and cars for the Nazi army, which entered service with the Wehrmacht. And after 1941, the Ford branch in occupied France continued to produce trucks for the Wehrmacht, and its other branch, in Algeria, supplied Hitler's General Rommel with trucks and armored cars. Even in April 1943, when the Soviet Union fought bloody battles with the Nazis, the French branches of Ford worked exclusively for the benefit of Germany. Cargo "five-ton" and passenger "Fords" were the main army transport of the Wehrmacht. The main issue for the corporation was the question of profit, which she tried to get at any cost. At the end of the war, Allied aircraft bombed the plant in Poissy, but the same Ford plant in German Cologne was not touched, although almost the entire ancient city was destroyed. Remarkably, after the war, Ford, like its powerful competitor General Motors, thanks to the efforts of major lawyers, obtained compensation from the US government "for damage caused to their property in enemy territory."

It would be expected that a vehicle production plant in an occupied country would supply that occupying country. I doubt france had a choice.
The Marshall plan supported many industries after ww2. No idea about cologne. Maybe the US saw it as something helpful to German recovery?

So what Ford should have done was to remove their plants from France after the French were defeated
and Poissy was taken by German troops? This would have been regretable for the French workers, and
awkward for the occupying Germans as they wanted that factory themselves. But.... Ford should have
insisted the French dismantle the factory and the Germans help send it to America.

'Black book of Communism', for starters. Written by a number of European academics in Europe.

Robert Conquest in his own book on Stalin's enforced famine in Ukraine, 'Harvest of Sorrows' give a toll of 13 million which
contradicts the 6 million in the Black Book.

The death toll from the SEIZURE OF POWER is not recorded in the Black Book, ie two million North Koreans dead is for the
man-made famine, and makes no mention of the Korean war or the gulags which still exist in North Korea.

    · 65 million in the People's Republic of China

    · 20 million in the Soviet Union

    · 2 million in Cambodia

    · 2 million in North Korea

    · 1.7 million in Ethiopia

    · 1.5 million in Afghanistan

    · 1 million in the Eastern Bloc

    · 1 million in Vietnam

    · 150,000 in Latin America

    · 10,000 deaths "resulting from actions of the international Communist movement and Communist parties not in power"[8]: 4

According to Courtois, the crimes by the Soviet Union included the following:

    · The execution of tens of thousands of hostages and prisoners

    · The murder of hundreds of thousands of rebellious workers and peasants from 1918 to 1922

    · The Russian famine of 1921 which caused the death of 5 million people

    · The decossackization, a policy of systematic repression against the Don Cossacks between 1917 and 1933

    · The murder of tens of thousands in the Gulag during the period between 1918 and 1930

    · The Great Purge which killed almost 690,000 people

    · The dekulakization, resulting in the deportation of 2 million so-called kulaks from 1930 to 1932

    · The death of 4 million Ukrainians (Holodomor) and 2 million others during the famine of 1932 and 1933

    · The deportations of Poles, Ukrainians, Moldovans, and people from the Baltic states from 1939 to 1941 and from 1944 to 1945

    · The deportation of the Volga Germans in 1941

    · The deportation of the Crimean Tatars in 1944

    · Operation Lentil and deportation of the Ingush in 1944[8]: 9–10

And just think, neo Marxists march in American streets and demand a statue be pulled down because some guy owned a slave.

Neo Marxists are a form of Communist who has realized that working class and economic theories don't cut it anymore.
They have turned to race or sex for newer accounts of oppression. So the reason for slavery was imperialism, Capitalism
and oppression of the hierarchy (never mind that every ethnic group, including native Americans, kept slaves.)
A classic neo Marxist raves on about critical race theory, existentialism and psychoanalysis, as well as militarism, imperialism,
colonialism etc because their economic theories, and outright Communism, are on the nose now.

136, 7 November 1848), Karl Marx wrote that there is only one means to shorten, simplify and concentrate the murderous death throes of the old society and the bloody birth pangs of the new, only one means—revolutionary terrorism.

n his biography of Joseph Stalin, Edvard Radzinsky, a Russian author of popular history books, noted that Stalin wrote a nota bene—"Terror is the quickest way to new society"—beside the above passage in a book by Karl Kautsky.[23][24]

Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky and other leading Bolshevik ideologists recognized mass terror as a necessary weapon during the dictatorship of proletariat and the resulting class struggle. In his The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade K. Kautsky (1918), Lenin wrote: "One cannot hide the fact that dictatorship presupposes and implies a "condition", one so disagreeable to renegades [such as Kautsky], of revolutionary violence of one class against another ... the "fundamental feature" of the concept of dictatorship of the proletariat is revolutionary violence".

You are showing your ignorance, the Belgians we're involved in the Congo, not Kenya. What is all this supposed to show? That Capitalist/imperialist/traditionalist governments are half as bad as communistic governments?

As I said, marx never led a revolution or killed anyone.
What others did was not up to him.
Interesting that you praise your revolution which was justified by ridding yourselves of an oppressive absentee landlord under whom you had no voice, and you criticise the Russian revolution, the product of Marxism, acted out for the same reasons.

So you have changed the subject from Marxism to neo Marxism which marx never advocated.
Marx never spoke of all that.
Can we stay on topic please and not use semantics to attribute things to marx
Are you suggesting there should be more "neo marxist" demonstrations?

This is how the Marxist/neo-Marxist operates. Watched it all my life.

    1975 Global Freezing campaign.
'The planet is freezing because of corporate greed, Capitalislm, militarism and neo-colonialism.'

    1978 Nuclear Winter campaign
'The planet is freezing because of corporate greed, Capitalislm, militarism and neo-colonialism.'

    2000 Global Warming campaign
'The planet is over-heating because of corporate greed, Capitalislm, militarism and neo-colonialism.'

Marx spoke of oppressor and oppressed narratives, and the need for violent revolution.
Switching from economics to race/sex/disability/hierarchy/environment/indigenous/trans/homosexual etc
    was the next step.
Lenin spoke to the German Communists in his book 'What is to be done', he castigated them for proudly
declaring they were Communists. These revolutionaries needed to be covert, underground and infiltrate
existing organizations with the view of co-opting them for revolutionary ends.
Note the news on Amnesty International last week about Israel and Apartheid and you get the idea.

This is Marist Leninism. The aim is power, pure unadulterated power - no churches, no opposition parties,
no independant organizations, no free press, no separation of powers. P.U.R.E...P.O.W.E.R..

Yes, he was the founder of what became to be called Marxist Leninism. Or simply put, Communism.
I doubt that Hitler killed anyone in his life.
You spread ideas which kill then you bear the greatest responsibility - in this case, over 100 corpses.

    Marx killed no one.
He did suggest that to get rid of the oppressive control of the aristocracy and the bourgeois, may need a revolution.
JUST AS THE AMERICANS DID IN 1776.
how that revolution happened or not was not marx's decision.
Lenin and stalin are not marx.
