That has to be a red line for us. Any deployment of nukes against Ukraine and we start bombing them and driving them out of Ukraine, including from Crimea and Donbas. Putin only appreciates strength and resolve, so it's time to show some where it counts in this conflict.

I think that’s why american troops are being quietly deployed to Europe. The west wont allow Putin to win and the use of a small nuke, or detection of abnormal radiation levels, will give us enough pretense to go all in and stop this atrocity.

Not an argument you would win in any court of law. But I just wanted the facts to be clear. The conclusions and inferences people like to draw from them is their choice.

Because they are ignorant. And they are currently tasting the medicine of their foolish decisions, so it’s a reflection that Trump was right all along.

And the Kremlin has issued a decree with the list of the hostile countries ... hostile from the perspective of the Russian government, obviously.
    https://www.ruetir.com/2022/03/07/russia-ukraine-war-putin-declares-italy-a-hostile-country/
    https://dip.org.ua/en/eu/russia-has...omplete-list-of-countries-has-been-published/

We were waiting for such a step. It's evident that we have got different goals about Ukraine and this makes us hostile from a Russian perspective.
It has been a matter of fact since the beginning of this crisis.

    – Liechtenstein,
    – Monaco,

That's it! Russia is done for! :)
Seriously, this is my list of place to visit or where I'd want to live if I was Russian!

There will still those on the far right, and maybe even two or three leftist tankies, who blame Biden for us ending up this list, even though the inclusion of Switzerland shows just how unhinged Putin has become. Well, shows it even more anyway.

I find really ironic that the Democrats have us support a war for oil. lol.

Who blames him for Russia putting countries on a list? We had to support Ukraine cause its geopolitical imperative to keep NATO from cracking.

We blame Biden for predictably entering into war with Russia that could have been avoided by following the Trump energy, economic and foreign policy. His Administration is now begging Russian Allies (Iran and Venezuela), and now Saudi Arabia again, for oil, because now these clowns realize their position completely untenable. We can't even get Brazil and India on our side. Israel has been relegated to an ambassador role for the United States, because they can't risk helping an administration whose party won't fund their military projects and ventures, and has double agents like John Kerry giving away military secrets.

I'm glad some of you guys have woken up, even it's mainly to political ploy to pivot towards a Trump-like policy, but this situation could have been nipped in the bud much earlier in this administration.

The vast majority of the posts I've seen from the right on this forum have blamed Biden more than Putin. We've had several say it is Biden fault for not making sure that Ukraine was forever forbidden from joining the EU.

None of that has anything to do with Russia/Ukraine. Plus Trump previously excused Putin's invasion of Ukraine . . . while also claiming he threatened to bomb Moscow if Putin invaded Ukraine again. That the energy you are looking for? And Trump also repeatedly fought against economic penalties for Russia. None of this is making any sense.

Don't ignore San Marino: that minuscule Republic in Central Italy has to be a tremendous threat for Russia:cool:!
Who is not afraid of San Marino?o_O

I guess that the destiny of the current accounts of the oligarchs in foreign countries is playing a role in this.
In Italy we are freezing everything belonging to oligarchs [from real estates to their money in our banks].

No one is begging these countries for oil. The only thing that materially affects US oil production is economics, as in the price of oil vs the price of exploration and drilling. Another issue is volatility; oil companies aren't going to go diving into new expensive shale projects just to see oil return to sub-$100 due to other factors (such as this conflict ending) and make the whole venture a bust again.

Yeah. Because it was predicted. We knew Biden's policies would make our energy sector vulnerable to Russian, particularly in Europe where Biden gave Russia Nordstream and cancelled the pipeline from Israel.

All of is has to do with Russia-Ukraine. It's only the leftists that can't figure it out because their pride won't let them take in information that cuts down their world view. As long as you keep watching or reading censored sources like CNN, you'll never know what'g goin on in the world. And that doesn't mean watch Fox. I know that's always the next stupid line.

I'm not just talking about oil. It's LNG and precious metals as well. You can even check common metals like copper.

And no. You're wrong about all the factors that go into oil and gas prices. Having a pipeline significantly reduces the costs of new and confirmed reserves. This is a list of just some of the projects Democrats killed. I'm not even including storage and port improvements.

Atlantic Coast Pipeline in NC, VA, WVA (LNG)
Mountain Valley Pipeline in VA and WVA
PennEast Pipeline Cancelled by NJ (LNG)
Biden wants to cancel the Enbridge Line 5 WI/MI (Oil)
    Line 3 Oil Pipeline Minnesota
    Alaska’s LNG Pipeline
    Dakota Access Pipeline Shutdown
The Permian Gas Pipeline in TX had to fight legal battles
Jordan Cove LNG Terminal and it’s connector, The Pacific Connector Pipeline, were opposed by leftists
Biden Cancelled the EastMed Pipeline from Israel, Greece, and Cyprus

Nordstream is cancelled, and the DOJ has been telling us for years that the most important energy policy to pursue, if we really want to be energy independent, is renewable energy. For obvious reasons. Whoever told you that Russia is deciding to invade Ukraine because of US oil is an absolute idiot whom you should never trust again. Besides, regardless of federal policy, oil and natural gas production have been INCREASING, not decreasing, and we were a net exporter during the Obama/Biden years.

I can virtually guarantee you that I'm to the right of you on economics, so the "but the leftists!!!" gag isn't going to work. I don't watch CNN. But, hey, if you have no real arguments, there's always the "but MSM!" fake argument.

your brain is wired, so you don't have to watch anything. By the way, that video was filmed in Ukraine, by a Ukrainian and a Ukrainian in the frame. But you may think that this was filmed on a Mosfilm - it's easier when there is no brain.

Okay. That's why I'm making money today, and you're spreading BS. Care to address the other pipelines?

I didn't say US oil exclusively. I said LNG and Precious Metals. Not producing these facilities as well as the infrastructure is what Putin relied on to put more pressure on the West. Take all the victory laps you want like getting Germany to meet their obligation is huge victory. lol

Let's see what happens in a few weeks or couple months when people can't pay their loans. I bet you guys halt student debt again cause what's one more correct prediction.

The Democrat National Security Threat. Their Censorship and Propaganda severely paused our response,

And yes. The Administration is panicking. You don't go begging Venzeula (war criminals) for oil when your content with your situation.

Who is against renewable energy? Why do you think I mentioned precious metals? This is not a binary decision. You go for both until you've secured renewables.

Speaking of national security threats, have you even come to accept Russia's disinformation efforts targeting the US yet?

. . . a metric shitload of people are against renewable energy. But, again, in the meantime, we are increasing petroleum production, not decreasing. It's a fake argument. No on is actually dumb enough to believe that Putin invaded Ukraine because of US energy policy. No one.

Don't use the phrase "you guys" until you learn what it means and can honestly use it. Moreover, I'm glad to see the thing that horrifies you most about an autocratic government slaughtering children and other civilians for their expansionism, killing our allies and invading a sovereign nation to try to take it over . . . is that there might be a halt to student debt in the US. Just charming.

I'd ask how, but that would mean thinking I'd ever get an answer. But I love how you've gone from "No one is blaming Biden for this" to . . . "actually this all the fault of dems" in just a couple of posts.

Sounds like we should have taken the DOJ's advice more seriously and become more energy independent by now . . . which the GOP will continue to fight against.
