Russian propaganda is so dumb only Russians and the mentally challenged would believe it.

Apparently Russia didn't have an invasion force on Ukraine's borders and was NOT going to invade. Russia is no shelling civilian areas. Oh, and Zelensky is in Lviv or Poland or something. Plus there is the nonexistent 'genocide' in the Donbas and the faked IED 'attack' to go with it (pro tip - don't use bodies that have already obviously been autopsied).

The list goes on & on. Every day a new, inane claim. I am now at the point where I assume anyone passing such claims off as true is either mentally challenged or a liar.

It really seems they are not even interested in constructing halfway intelligent lies. One could argue that the G.W.Bush administration was at least coherent with their lies, the Kremlin seems so desparate that they're just throwing any kind of bs against the wall, no matter how idiotic, hoping some of it might stick. It's also strange that all of a sudden there are several new users here spreading Kremlin propaganda. Shamed be he who thinks evil of it.

As previously argued, Trump went more that just “calling for it.” Actual results were seen… this article is from 2019:

RE: Russia Declares War on Ukraine
    SUBTOPIC: Support for the Ukrainians
    ※→ et al,

    (COMMENT)

There is no real threat or concern pertaining to nuclear weapons/nuclear exchanges. (I am not even sure that aspect is worth the time to discuss.)
This is another US Intelligence Failure (CIA/DIA/NSA/Army Intel). Having said that, what do we do to mitigate that mistake. The US needs to crank-up:

◈ The infiltration of several thousand Stinger Anti-Aircraft Missiles to deny the Soviets total air supremacy.
◈ Similarly, the US should assist in the infiltration of several thousand of European Anti-Tank.
◈ The US should assist Europe in the flooding the Ukraine with Humanitarian Supplies. (Food, Heat, Generators)
◈ The extraction of those refugees out of the war zone.
◈ Establish connections between the US Special Operations community and the Ukrainians.

But the US also should be prepared for the gasoline suppliers to monetarily exploit the talk of restricting Russian Oil Purchases. (war profiteering). The White House does not get it, but the longer the conflict runs, the greater advantage the Russians will acquire and the worse the US Political-Economic impact will be on Americans. There was little doubt that the White House would run like scared children from setting-up a "No-Fly Zone." They are just so afraid of a US-Russian entanglement that they are nearly at a point of being panic-frozen.

This will hasten the irrelevance of America in the leadership in the Western World... If America does not move quickly, effectively, and decisively - the faster the world leadership will shift away to a European nation that has shown these qualities. The Biden Administration cannot be counted upon for a serious response except for tongue wagging.

you are wrong. Russia in this captivity is very serious. It will be like with the war in Ukraine. They will pull to the last, but then it will not seem enough.

Yes, there are pockets of Russian fascists in many countries where Russians are present.
    Nothing new.
More than 140 UN countries supported Ukraine.

@Thedimon constantly using the word "fascism" you act in the best traditions of Goebbels: repeat the lie until it is believed. But the truth is that there is no fascism in Russia. your opinion doesn't make sense.

Russia is a textbook example of a fascist state. Read the definition. ;) You are fascists and people are starting to see you for who you are.
You, yourself, indicated that to you an empire is more important than the subjects of that empire. Only fascists hold such worldview. And it’s not just you in particular - every time Americans see Russian claims that they are denazifying a country with an ethnic Jew on the top position, the more you convince others that you are aggressive fascists who lie and just look for territorial expansion.
Edit for the mods: I’m just calling a spade a spade, nothing else. Calling someone who supports aggressive nationalistic dictatorship that kills innocent people to score geopolitical points in the name of the benefit of one ethnicity (Russians), is a textbook definition of fascism.

Well, those are your fantasies. It's good when a person has a rich inner world. You can call patriotism fascism - I'm still not ashamed to be a patriot.

When you support an invasion of a sovereign state in the name of “liberating” people of the same ethnicity as you then you support fascism.
That’s just what it is. And it started quite a while ago. Here is an article from 7 years ago that goes over this subject:
    https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/is-putin-s-russia-fascist/

well, yes, I always knew that invading a foreign country in order to remove its rightful ruler is a democracy. States know how to hang labels devaluing concepts.

News reporting seems cautious but a question that seems to be talked around might be is Russia getting their ass kicked?

Fascism is not just invasions - it’s ultra nationalism, heavy dictatorship, corporatism, and very heavy censorship.
Your country has plenty of that.
    Russia is a fascist state.

If you follow the mainstream media then the war is already over....All Russian troops are either killed or captured. And every Russian missile hits either a school or hospital. The journalistic standards literally went down the toilet. Awful. The urban warfare is tough.Especially if city is still full of civilians. If you aren't trained for the urban warfare, there are going to be losses. For sure. What's more, cities eventually end up being in ruins.

So far it looks like the war staled. Time is the best friend of Ukraine now - Putin spends billions on this war every day, while his people are losing jobs left and right. Fascist Russia also lost a ton of equipment, including insane amount of aircraft.
I don’t think there are that many people out there who think fascist Russia can keep going like that for much longer.

I don't know what substances create your reality. From across the ocean, you probably know better about life in Russia than I, its aborigine. :)

You, the “aborigine”, apparently didn’t know about the invasion and have no idea about realities of life in Ukraine. So, yes, even from across the ocean, I have a better picture of what’s going on than you do. ;)
