Elon Musk Diagnoses Netflix with a Fatal Disease as Stock Plummets on News of Subscriber Loss.

Stock down 67% in 5 months.

Netflix appears "to be going down the drain."

"The company announced Tuesday that its streaming service had lost about 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2022, with the crepe-hanging prediction that 2 million more would flee in the second quarter, according to" CNN.

"Netflix had been predicting it would gain 2.5 million subscribers in the first quarter."

Musk: “The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable.”

    He may be right.
Dear White People” also turned away viewers as" it's "racist against white people."
Doesn't seem like a great business model.

Netflix discovers the truth of Get Woke Go Broke.

Too bad. One thing they do have is I find that their streaming service is probably the most reliable with poor internet quality. It's seems to be the most durable streamer. I wish they could work the other issues out.

I don't think Netflix issue is primarily what content all content in the creative sphere is what because it's all made by the same people.

I think it has more to do with Paramount Plus and peacock and I am DB and Amazon and Hulu and Disney Plus.

Netflix created.nitch and dominated it for years. Now that traditional media is dying the companies involved in it aren't moving more toward the streaming concept and they're taking all of their stuff that was on Netflix for their own streaming service to build up a content catalog.

With the loss of money you have the loss of quality and with the loss of quality you have more and more apathetic customers until they decide they don't want to be part of it anymore.

But the way a person should consume Netflix if there is something there that you want to watch is pay for it for a month preferably around some point you have a lot of time off and watch and then cancel and then when something else comes out on it pay for it for another month watch and cancel this is how you should do all streaming services what this is going to lead to is a subscription fee so they will just essentially become cable TV

I think Netflix started tanking about when Obama got involved with it.

I agree with you - I rotate between streaming services, don't pay for more than one at a time

Currently have Paramount+ and have been catching up on the newer Star Trek shows
Had Netflix for 2 months to watch Squid Game, Marvel shows, & my wife binged Queer Eye
Next will be Amazon for my son as he wants to watch Wheel of Time

I don't watch enough tv (outside of sports) to spend that much time with steaming services

The last thing I remember watching on Netflix was "Stranger Things" Truly stupid show but Millie Bobby Brown was about as sexualized as a little girl gets

Was Cuties the one with this old fat woman abusing these poor little girls who wanted to be dancers? The only thing that whalelike harridan would ever dance to was her business partner's fortune made reinforcing the floors at any studio she had ever practiced at.

Elon Musk should be indicted for Insider Trading just for getting out of bed. "Elon Musk wipes ass, stocks tumble"

They just increased their monthly subscription from like $19 to $21. THAT may have a lot to do with it. I've only had them a year or so after I cut back on my Uverse package. I still pay TOO much and am looking for ways to cut the cable and stream more. $21 for what I watch isn't bad compared to what I am paying Uverse for their content.

I was paying $10. What makes that package so much more?

There are streaming services for sports. That's actually how I got introduced to them your friend of mine convinced me to try out fubo I found it not very impressive because I don't care for sports or at least not for the sports they offered.

Yeah I noticed there was this nature documentary narrated by Obama they just couldn't get Richard Attenborough?

I particularly love nature documentaries that's the primary television I watch but I just can't stomach hearing Barack Obama narrate the damn thing not that he has a bad voice.

It would be like hearing Donald Trump narry a series about feminism and white supremacy it just doesn't work

I think doing that would spell the end for them. The only reason that I have the streaming service that I do is because I share it with six people.

I get 85 channels for free. Comes through the air and gets collected by an antenna and it costs me zero per month. Call me old school, but I don't watch much TV anyway, especially none of the new woke crap.

The problem with Netfix and other streaming services is "Wild wild west" again. They have no known "As far as I see/can tell" protection from hacks.. I have yet to not find and watch anything offered via streams! Once a movie leaves the theater and hits PPV or Redbox it's free for the taking via hacks..

Another big issue is the Chineses! They don't secure anything "Well as far as movies go non political" they sell a box now for around 3 to 4 hundred that literally makes everything available via streams..

Streams are suffering what Sat dish's were in the 80's, no encryption! Only this "Streaming pirating" is a whole new ballgame and far to easy to offer because of no international barriers.. People are learning how easy it is to get cord cutter apps for firetv, pirate box's from local dealers that make it all free..

99 and 44/100% of what is on TV is pure trash and rubbish and not worth watching. And that goes for both pay TV as well as regular broadcast TV.

It's been failing ever since they've been promoting Anti-White rhetoric and pushing diversity/LGBT agenda at all levels. Disney+ is going to be hit the same way in the next few months due to their own management going down the same route. The masses tolerate diversity+LGBT nonsense because they fear their jobs and positions in life. When someone can anonymously disconnect from a service that promotes it they will.
