I wonder which is worse...contributing what some would consider less than average to a charity or defrauding a charity?

Did they include what Hunter was giving them and how they are using their Subchapter S corporation to avoid paying payroll taxes?

HE didn't spend that any more than Biden spends it going home every weekend. He played golf on his own courses OH MY THROW HIM IN JAIL. And why do assert he should have put up and fed the SS agents out of his own pocket?

Are you denying evidence has been presented that money was being funneled to him through his son, money which came for adversarial foreign governments and their agents?

I have over and over why do you deny it? Are you denying the Hunter email to his daughter? Are you denying the emails about The Big Guy getting his cut? Are you denying the bank records showing the joint bank account and The Big Guys bills getting paid? Are you denying the statements of the business partners and their corroborating evidence. You have refuted none of it just simply dismissed it.

    Their "fair share"?

Biden, accountant hit with IRS whistleblower claim that prez owes at least $127K

President Biden and his accountant are facing new IRS whistleblower complaints alleging that Biden owes at least $127,000 in back taxes.

The complaints were filed by Chris Jacobs, a former Republican aide on Capitol Hill, to coincide with Monday’s federal tax filing deadline.

“Federal agencies must implement laws on a non-partisan basis,” Jacobs told The Post. “The fact that the IRS did not audit Joe Biden’s 2017 through 2019 returns, despite several articles publicly raising questions about the propriety of his actions, raises questions about how the IRS administers our nation’s tax laws, and whether political considerations played a role in the IRS’ decisions.”

Biden and his wife, Jill, avoided paying Medicare taxes on book income and speaking fees in 2017 and 2018 by routing $13.3 million through “S corporations” and counting a small amount as eligible for the federal health care tax.

So? You cheered when we learned that Trump paid $75 in income taxes. Called him smart.

"Joe's missing millions. Financial records reveal Biden had $5.2million in unexplained income - as emails show he paid Hunter's legal bills for one megabucks Chinese deal and was tapped as 'big guy' to get a 10% cut in another."

Biden didn't pay taxes on his bribes.

Where is the record of taxes being paid on this $5 million plus?

IT’S GOOD TO BE THE BIG GUY: Joe’s missing millions! Financial records reveal Biden had $5.2million in unexplained income — as emails show he paid Hunter’s legal bills for one megabucks Chinese deal and was tapped as ‘big guy’ to get a 10% cut in another.

Bribery is a listed impeachable offense, and of course Entitled Joe didn't pay taxes on his bribery income.

Nothing illegal about establishing an S corporation. And that is quite literally what most people do if they will go on speaking tours, produce books, etc. Newt Gingrich does this quite often and has a seperate S corporation of each of this books. It takes the advantage of certain tax codes when an S Corp is created.

Considering you have no expertise in this matter popscott, perhaps you can show where Title 26 was violated here.

Huge difference in how a US tax return is derived for total income and a reporting requirement for ethics filing.

For instance, in total income, it says, "Sources and amounts of outside, earned income exceeding $200 must be reported. The officials' government salaries are not typically reported on their disclosures, but they are public record. Since 2009, most lawmakers have earned $174,000, while the Speaker of the House earned $223,500, and the President pro tempore of the Senate and the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate earned $193,400. The source, but not the amount, of a spouse's income over $1,000 must also be reported. Elected officials and senior staff are limited in the amount of outside income they may earn while serving. ($26,100 since 2009) Exceptions are made for income that is previously approved and for certain book royalties and advances."

Somebody is not RTI when it comes to this.

Let's think about that for a moment. When staff sat down to decide what stories would be covered a decision was made to try figure a way to put some kind of negative spin on the release of Biden/Harris's taxes. Someone likely said, "Okay people, how can we make this look bad for them?"

It's as if it were a campaign staff saddled with a candidate who hadn't released his taxes, had a documented story published about him focusing on decades of illegal tax avoidance, and is currently under investigation for possible tax and financial fraud. What a luxury it is for Trump to have Faux working for him 7 days a week. It helps explain why he isn't universally viewed as a pariah.

Using S corporation tax status is a legal tax avoidance scheme to reduce SS and Medicare tax paid. The reason, is the "reasonable compensation" under 26 USC 1373 and Rev. Rul. 59-221. Under the rules, only actively participating shareholders can receive such reasonable compensation. If only one person is listed under the S Corp, then that single shareholder should receive reasonable compensation. To determine reasonable compensation, various factors are used. In addition, the IRS has the authority to reclassify distributions as wages; however, the audit process for that is long and tedious.

The question is going to be is whether or not they received any "reasonable compensation." from the S corps.

In addition, for each person, the maximum wage limit, according to SSA is $142,800 per person. Medicare taxes are unlimited. So, I am not sure how they are getting that figure, probably being very aggressive in their calculations. Any excess SS tax paid is deemed a refundable credit on Form 1040.

You do realize Zorro that the US Federal Tax Return had more income reported than what was on the ethics filing report form. Furthermore, personal deductions are not included on said form unless it is above the threshold per the instructions.

Nothing you guys are presenting here is based on the actual evidence. You are grasping at straws here.

Since he said he would, Trump will surely be releasing his tax figures soon.

This is about "fair share" and the wealthy using such tax dodges to avoid it remember? I know that tax law I was vice-president of a subchapter S back in the 1980's, and how they are using it to avoid taxes.

    Now deal with the Biden's.
