They're extreme right, and they're extremely wrong to want that in the modern world.

Big Bad Government + Big Bad Business = Corporatism = Death Inc.

"In the same manner as the latter inflame their workmen, to attack with violence
and outrage the proposers of any such regulation; to attempt to reduce the
army would be as dangerous as it has now become to attempt to diminish, in
any respect, the monopoly which our manufacturers have obtained against
us. This monopoly has so much increased the number of some particular
tribes of them, that, like an overgrown standing army, they have become
formidable to the government, and, upon many occasions, intimidate the
    legislature."

"The member of parliament who supports every proposal for
strengthening this monopoly, is sure to acquire not only the reputation
of understanding trade, but great popularity and influence with an order
of men whose numbers and wealth render them of great importance. If
he opposes them, on the contrary, and still more, if he has authority
enough to be able to thwart them, neither the most acknowledged probity,
nor the highest rank, nor the greatest public services, can protect him
from the most infamous abuse and detraction, from personal insults, nor
sometimes from real danger, arising from the insolent outrage of furious
    and disappointed monopolists."

All the small limited government factions are not "right-leaning". They are all extremely anti-fascist.

All of the Big Government factions could be described as 'fascist-leaning'.

"These definitions coincide with the terms which, since Greek antiquity, have been used to define the forms of government as the rule of man over man—of one or the few in monarchy and oligarchy, of the best or the many in aristocracy and democracy, to which today we ought to add the latest and perhaps most formidable form of such dominion, bureaucracy, or the rule by an intricate system of bureaux in which no men, neither one nor the best, neither the few nor the many, can be held responsible, and which could be properly called the rule by Nobody. Indeed, if we identify tyranny as the government that is not held to give account of itself, rule by Nobody is clearly the most tyrannical of all, since there is no one left who could even be asked to answer for what is being done. It is this state of affairs which is among the most potent causes for the current world-wide rebellious unrest."

There is little point in comparing government in Greek antiquity to government today, let alone philosophies of government. Technology and other related factors, especially in how economies and finance operate, have made the world and the governing situation quite different.

    :roflol::roflol::roflol: ....
In the summer of 2017, a small but very unfortunate incident happened at the giant Pokhran artillery range, in the largest Indian state of Rajasthan in the north-west of the country. Right during the test firing, the towed M777 howitzer fell apart into its component parts.
Anything can happen at the training ground, and if it were simple training firing, hardly anyone would attach serious importance to this. But the problem was that at stake, in this case, was a billion-dollar contract. The M777 gun, worth almost four million dollars a copy, was one of two that the manufacturer supplied for in-depth review by the Indian military.
Indians, as you know, are corrosive people and earnestly bargain for every penny. They almost always try to deliberately belittle the merits of the purchased equipment, in the canonical traditions of the viscous Asian bargaining. And here they had every reason for quite reasonable indignation.
Indian journalists managed to dig up a lot of interesting materials about the M777, which today is considered one of the best large-caliber towed guns of the Western Alliance. The Hindustan Times devoted a lot of material to him, stating many cases when a widely publicized howitzer not only let down the army, but also led to completely unexpected losses among its own. The main example was an incident that was quite fresh for those times, when in mid-August 2017, in the north of long-suffering Iraq, a shell exploded in the M777 barrel, which increased the losses of the US Army by seven soldiers at once. The incident was very similar to what happened at the Indian test site, since there were no casualties there. In addition, Indian newspapermen gave several more examples from the practice of the US and Australian armies, the main operators of the M777, where even in a completely peaceful environment she led a kind of "Fredley fire" on her own gunners.
“If we sponsor Western concerns in this way, buying non-combat-ready weapons from them only because of the inscription “Made in the USA or England,” then our army, at a difficult moment, may face a real military disaster,” the Indian journalist concludes. material.

    Great post!

I just finished RFK Jr's book The Real Anthony Fauci. It's like taking a college level course on vaccines and deceptions.

The last chapter has a section devoted to the Anthrax vaccine, much information I had not been aware of. It is entirely possible that what they called Gulf War Syndrome was actually widespread adverse reactions to that shot. He made the same point you do here, that the threat of being exposed to anthrax in real life is less than miniscule.

And the words of the Charge of the Light Brigade still ring true: ours is not to wonder why, ours is but to do and die.

Yes, we were all taught that each soldier is expendable, and we all accept that. STill, something is fundamentally wrong at today's Pentagon with the unnecessary and toxic shots, and the silly damn masks.

Funny that a no mask state like Florida has lower numbers per capita than a mass lockdown mask everyone state like New York. Makes you think who is being truthful or if the virus is spread in different ways than just by air we breathe.

...that was a shame as the shell that exploded was faulty....and made by the Indian OFB....
As you say about the nature of the Indian haggling mentality....I guess that's what you get when the ammo made by the lowest bidder...

actually the OFB didn't offer any...mind you the good thing that came out of it was the factory in India went through a thorough quality audit and a lot of improvements were introduced.

So, it seems like the 'mopping up' phase has now taken as long as whatever the pre-'mopping up' phase was called and there is no end in sight. Certainly not a definition of 'mopping up' I am familiar with.

Its almost as if this was based on the analysis of a Putinista shill with minimal credibility....oh....wait.

It looks more like he is drooling mouth breather.

SHOT: Russia Is Losing a War Against Hackers Stealing Huge Amounts of Data. “Dozens of Russian companies and government agencies have been hacked in apparent retribution for the invasion of Ukraine.”

Chaser: Russian Linked Attackers Barraged Ukrainian Networks With Hundreds of Attacks. “Attackers reportedly conducted 237 operation with some seemingly occurring in tandem with kinetic military strikes.”

    The New York Post reported,

"Russian armor suffers from a design flaw that makes them susceptible to losing their tops in direct hits — a well-documented flaw Ukrainian troops are taking advantage of to smolder enemy forces."

"The decapitated tanks, with turrets detached from their bodies, are victims of what military experts call the jack-in-the-box effect, the result pressure shockwave caused by the explosion of stored ammunition."

    "Pop goes the weasels."

We were told that Russia brought mobile cremation centers, but I didn't know that they meant their tanks.

"The flaw in Russian armor isn’t new information, either. The Soviet-built T-72 tanks fielded by Saddam Hussein’s army during the first Gulf War showed the same propensity to blow their tops."

Yes, they meant to fix that, but, got busy with other stuff... you know how it goes.

    Other than that, Great Tank!

Best darn tank a ruble can buy!

TIL something new. Thanx. But doesn't this also apply to Ukraine's tanks? Why aren't the Russians applying this knowledge?

The way I understand it, the top of the tank pops like that when it’s hit from the top. Western weapons do that, but Russian anti-tank weapons don’t act the same way. Unfortunately, it doesn’t mean that Russians didn’t manage to blow up some Ukrainian tanks over the course of this war.

And Russia's "reactive" armor is just canvas bags stuffed with cardboard and strapped to the outside of the tank. Cutting edge stuff...
