Voters will punish the Democrats in the midterm elections this November because the progressive experiment led by President Joe Biden has failed very badly, former Trump chief economist Larry Kudlow said on Sunday.

Speaking on "The Cats Roundtable" radio show hosted by John Catsimatidis on 77 WABC, Kudlow said Biden is in "complete denial" on the declining economy.

He said that "it’s kind of sad to see a president being unaware of" how badly the progressive experiment has failed.

Kudlow said that Biden fails to "take ownership of this … He’s blaming everybody, (but) he’s got to take the blame (and) polls show that the voters now blame him."

He said that "we’re going to see big political change this fall" because "there is no confidence right now in the body politic. There’s no confidence in the stock market. There is no confidence in the business community. These are things that take their toll."…

ormer Trump official is exactly right in what he said in his news maker interview on a Sunday morning news show. Kudlow was right when he worked for Reagan. He was right when he worked in the Trump administration. He’s a top economist and it’s too bad Biden isn’t listening to him.

Like he said to people since leaving office, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Democrats didn’t listen and now they broke it. It’s time for them to pay!

That's a bit of a stretch. A lot of people wanted Donald Trump gone, but that was is. Democrats overplayed their hand because they thought it was a mandate to off the deep end with the progressive nonsense.

If the midterms are legit then democrats will get hammered. But I have no confidence or trust in honest and fair elections. Even the beloved JFK cheated and Biden told him to hold his beer.

Yeah, that's the guy who claimed Trump's tax cuts virtually paid for themselves:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...m-that-we-have-virtually-paid-trumps-tax-cut/

How come that in the same two years, the deficit exploded to almost a $ trillion, and that was even before covid, when the economy was supposedly on fire?

I think the guy has less than zero credibility to lecture on failed economic policies.

"Failed Progressive Experiment" = Infrastructure (in Kudlow-speak)

    SNIP
Six months after the signing of President Joe Biden's $1 trillion infrastructure package, the government said Monday there are 4,300 projects underway with more than $110 billion in funding announced — milestones the administration is publicly heralding as midterm politics intensify.

The infrastructure spending is also one area where political leaders will have to share credit with each other. Governors and mayors are responsible for 90% of the expenditures in the law, while the federal government accounts for 10% of the spending. The administration has actively tried to help state and local governments compete for the money, with Landrieu noting that even Republican critics are generally eager to receive the funding.

“Some really smart person said, you know, even those people that voted no want the dough,” he said. “This is as close to consensus in my political life that I have seen.”

Then the Conservatives decided now was the time to attack Roe. Might just save the Democrats bacon.

What did Kudlow "get right" working for Reagan .. Reagan economic policy was a disaster and that History is written .. despite revisionists trying to claim otherwise.

A waste of a potentially good argument -- prattling on about such nonsense in an effort to prop up the uber Partisan Kudlow credibility .. "the Glory Days of Reagan" what a joke .. and a terrible distraction from the fact that everything else stated is inexorably true.

Sorry but the Reagan years were some of the best on our history. Setting the stage to win the Cold War, defeating malaise and stagflation, restoring pride and patriotism in America. Trump restored all the good and now biden is systematically destroying the American economy.

Not talking about cold war . pride patriotism - talking brass taxes - fiscal responsibility .. and no serious student debates the fact that Reaganomics was a failure .. that is revisionist nonsense you are parroting ... who are you talking to .. did you seriously want to be crucified on this hill ? .. beg for it and I may consent.

and what part of "He got the rest right" slipped past the fence . yes .. we agree that Biden Sucks .. disaster on many fronts .. my arguments an order of magnitude better than yours. That changeth not the fact that Reagan was a fiscal disaster .. set the stage for the ruin in which we find ourselves .. come on .. just itching I am .. but you need to beg .. for education .. at this point you should already be feeling reduced .. getting this so wrong .. so sucked in by the Red kool-aid .. completely unaware of its existence

What say you .. need you schooling ? .. got the nails in hand mate .. just give me the word.
