Well no, at least as I understand your argument. Let me get this straight, tucker is espousing "great replacement theory" by opining about how illegal immigration affects voting demographics. How do you apply that sentiment to a "preferred minority" that is not illegally migrating here? It seems to me that the shooter was concerned about the white race dilution, can you find any evidence that Carlson promoted that or even shared that view?
Advocating for equal treatment of minorities is not the same as saying "white people are bad" (I am white myself). The latter phrase is just used by White Nationalists and the like to stir white resentment.
If equal treatment was the goal then you would not need laws for specific groups. No, "white people are bad" is the mantra of the modern left. One can tune into any MSM channel, today, and listen to them explain how whites are racist and misogynists and are the cause of all the problems in the country.
Of course. Wouldn't want you to educate yourself by doing the hard work of looking it up and then reading it yourself.
Sure, just replace migration with reproduction. Edit: Ultimately I don’t care where he contracted his brain rot. I’ve since seen some posts including snips from the manifesto that suggest it came from various 4chan boards, so maybe that’s the direct influence. I don’t care. Carlson still spews vile and racist rants on the nightly.
So are you denying the OPs outline of what the manifesto says, or is it just inconvenient so you are deflecting and dismissing?
Maybe the OP ought to have quoted relevant segments of the manifesto that backed their claims. Seems that would have been useful.
Ah I see... So you've morphed your argument into Carlson could have caused the radicalization. Well I guess we'll agree to disagree on that front. I've not noticed Tucker to be racist at all.
Two questions for you, do you believe that Carlson pushes replacement theory? Do you believe that replacement theory is a talking point of white nationalists?
1. No. As I understand replacement theory, it is the belief that a race is diluted by allowing mass migration. It is built on the tenets that there is a pure/superior race. Carlson is anti(illegal)-immigration because of how it changes voter demographics and lowers wages for American workers. These are VASTLY different views. 2. I do indeed. See 1.
Thanks - where did you find that? I did, indeed, try to educate myself but only found reporting on snippets.
I would think quoting a news source would be sufficient. Do we need to actually be present and have the original manifesto in hand before we can discuss whats posted?
If the OP is making claims of what is in the manages to, and what those things mean, then they should provide quotes supporting what they say. I’m a big advocate for sources. I don’t like the “do your own research” crowd. Show me what you’re (not specifically you) talking about, what is informing your opinion, so that we can be sure we’re discussing the same thing. I don’t think this is an out there concept.
So you haven't read it. And you sure won't see them on MSNBC or any of the rest of the alphabet soup media.
By searching using a search engine that doesn't decide what you can and cannot see. https://emilkirkegaard.dk/en/wp-content/uploads/spree-killer-manifesto.pdf
Technically, he is a political extremist based on points #2 and #3. For #5, he would have had the same results in Oak Cliff in Dallas or anywhere else given what he wanted to do it. you could identify him as a far-right political extremist based on his views on #3. He is an adult. He is 18 years old, which means no juvenile court to determine if he should be tried as an adult. He knew what he was doing and knew what he thought. So, stop making excuses for the lad.
Nothing he wrote was about politics. Your ideology just wants to make it political. Just like you manufactured the "He's 18" argument. No one that I saw suggested he be tried as a juvenile. Zero people are making excuses, that's just what you want to see.
Sorry, no, one does not have to be far right to hold any of those positions. It's like calling Hitler who wanted universal health and espoused a host of other far left ideas far right soley because he hated Jews.
Dude the great theory promulgated by prominent Democrats going back decades. Is it racist? Hell yes and the creators of it are Democrats and the creators of it as Carlson rightfully points out are Democrats and as he has also pointed out it's not working per plan.
