Do you think the election of Obama-Biden 2008 worsened racial tension?

Not really imo. I think the tactics used against trump is what really set things off. Calling everyone a racist who doesn't see things the same way has had a long lasting impact.

It doesn't 'trigger' me. I just find it sad that someone's skin color matters that much to people. If someone want's to call Biden the 45th White president, I find that pretty sad also.

If you had read and quoted my entire post, you would see your answer. Which, By the by, is required by Rule 4.

Sad? Ok, so it does trigger sadness in you . It doesn't do anything to me.

Do you understand what viewing something as sad, isn't the same as a person feeling sad? I can't believe I actually had to explain that to you.

To actually believe that almost everyone on the right could handle a black man (Obama) as president is absurd.

What does your favorite liberal commentator have to say?

Of course Obama was divisive, he grouped people into little groups.

Hillary's campaign started the birther nonsense.
But it was a valid question. How the hell do you need ID to buy a six pack of beer but you don't need to prove your identity to get the nomination to run for president?

That should have been cleared up from the very beginning before they even looked at the guy and then it would never would have been a question.

Yes there's hate to go around there's plenty of hate on both sides. Should I post a picture of trump severed head now or should I save that one for later?

Yes, he created eight years of wall to wall riots. His admin constantly called whites racist, and accomplished putting targets on LEO's backs. ISIS came to be under Obama and filled the gap when he removed our military from Iraq. Further he encouraged the Muslim Brotherhoods attempt to take over Egypt. Then he bombed sovereign Libya which removed Gaddafi, destabilizing Libya, and encouraged the removal of Assad from Syria which helped inflame their civil war. He completely destabilized the middle east. But his crowning achievement came when he pushed for and accomplished the perversion of the meaning of Marriage and displayed rainbow colors at the White House. I regard him as a disgusting person.

You are simply confirming exactly what I wrote. You (and I'm sure you're quite sincere in this) cannot imagine anyone opposing Obama and his policies UNLESS they were racist. The fact that there could be legitimate policy differences is totally incomprehensible to you.

It's not incomprehensible at all. But hatred of him because he's black, and hating him for his policies, isn't mutually exclusive. People can do both, one, or neither.

Well that's not what you said. What you said was, "Surely you don't believe there was no racial component to the Right's hatred of Obama, do you? The sort of thing that burst out in to the open when the former orange Bigot-in-Chief was elected."

I think he did. Obama is a racist. He even threw his own grandmother under the bus, the lady that raised him and did her very best to give him stability after his mom, dad and step dad jammed. Obama said she was like "typical white folks" and then he didn't bother to go see her as she was dying. He also never passed up an opportunity to voice his hatred of police officers and his rant about "racists who cling to their bibles and guns" he didn't mention that they were white, but, we all got the picture. He was a real pile of crap and through Biden he continues to damage this country. And Obamacare was no gift.

Obamacare 'Time Bomb' To Hit Right Before Midterms

"Roughly 13 million Americans will be hit...amid crippling inflation"

"a middle-class couple of 50 year-olds making $75,000 would see their premium go up by $8,304 on average," adding "And, if the insurer hikes the unsubsidized premium by 10% for inflation, that’s another $1,468."
