Well, "Murmansk" is not what people think of when they think of "Finlands border". They are more apt to think of near St. Petersburg as the base near there is also on the doorstep of the Finnish capital.

Though that is 1970s and before thinking. With modern SLBMs the actual location of nuclear weapons mattes little any more.

I thought it would make him unnominatable back in 2016 but I was surprised and shocked.

Well if you're talking about the Covid-19 epidemic we don't normally hold a president responsible for the deaths from the spread of disease.

Reasonable people don't blame Reagan for the spread of AIDS (some idiots do of course) or Carter/Ford for the Flu epidemics that occurred in the 1970s..

Let's not derail this thread. Give me a few and I'll start a new thread in which we can discuss this further.

I just (seriously) wanted to know how Trump has "blood on his hands".

He politicized the pandemic from day one and contributed massively to people refusing to wear a mask or get vaccinated.

Did you forget about Democrats telling people to go and hang out at their local Chinatown? Or decision to limit travel to China being called racist? Democrats politicized Covid to attack Trump. Didn’t they downplay Covid as a distraction from Trump’s impeachment?

I just recall Trump calling it a hoax and fake news when the news broke, and then attacking Democratic state governors who were trying to save lives.

Shutting down the U.S. economy was not worth it anyway.

Shutting down killed many people. I can list some by name if you like.

Revealing that you felt compelled to quote and respond to the question, wrote so much in response and managed to avoid answering the question.

It's pretty stupid to double dog dare someone to use their nuclear weapons who is willing to transport nuclear weapons near their own people.

It's pretty stupid to invade under false pretences....proceed to get your army destroyed along with your economy...and later further breakup of your own real estate.

Dwarfstan hopefully will be dead soon with his blood or a$$ cancer.....some legacy.

    Trying doesn't mean anything.

Like LBJ, Biden succeeded in stealing an election.

Reagan took it seriously as opposed to claiming it was a conspiracy to get him out of the office (like Trump did). No one with AIDS was allowed into the US for the next 20 years.

It means a lot. His failure doesn't mean he didn't do something wrong.

And no, Biden didn't steal the election. He won despite cheating on the part of Trump and various anti-democratic allies of his who conspired to steal the election for Trump.

He echoed the idea that half of the country he was elected to run would be better off if they were dead.

Not to mention the complete and total destruction of open discourse in the United States while cozying up with its enemies along with casting doubt on our election system with unfounded conspiracy accusations.

I agree he doesn’t compare to putin but he is definitely towards the bottom of the pile.

Added to that, he hasn't gotten any better:

Donald Trump *never* learns his lesson
Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large
Updated 10:05 PM ET, Wed May 18, 2022

(CNN)TV doctor Mehmet Oz finds himself in a nip-and-tuck race with wealthy businessman David McCormick in the fight for the Republican Senate nomination in Pennsylvania.

And his highest-profile backer has some words of advice.

"Dr. Oz should declare victory," counseled Trump via a tweet truth on his Truth Social site. "It makes it much harder for them to cheat with the ballots that they 'just happened to find.'"

    Uh, OK.

What Trump's statement makes clear is that he hasn't learned the right (or any) lessons from the 2020 election. (And no, I am not surprised.)

    ... https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/18/politics/trump-oz-victory-pennsylvania-senate-race/index.html

I wonder what kind of readership he gets on Pravda Social, at least outside of everyone working for the news media..
