Standing against what he calls a left turn away from God and a Democrat spin into a two-tiered system of justice, former President Donald Trump teased a 2024 president campaign Friday before the Faith and Freedom Coalition — stopping short once again of declaring it officially.

Treating Democrats and Republicans equally, Trump vowed, will be "one of the most urgent tasks facing the next Republican president."

"I wonder who that will be," Trump said to a standing ovation at the Road to Majority Policy Conference at Nashville, Tennessee's Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in a speech that aired live on Newsmax.

"Yeah, thank you very much. That's very nice. I appreciate it. …

his NewsMax TV news report covering the things that president Trump said regarding current events of the day including the fake Jan 6 unselect committee, the social issues, economic issues, the global issues we are all worried about. Trump was right on in what he said to the conference of those gathered to hear him speak.

Absolutely, we definitely need him. For all his shortcomings he was so much better than Obama, and well….anyone would be better than Brandon.

My ex would love for him to run because no one fires up democrats the way Trump does.

My ex is worried about him running because people love him and his policies. And when Biden is compared to Trump (and if Trump runs the comparisons will be constant) then Biden doesn’t stand a chance.

Why must the current events section continue to be cluttered with threads that don't meet the standards of current events?

Clearly this OP should be in elections and campaigns since it is clearly all about Trump stroking his own ego discussing running for POTUS again.

Mods, will you please move this to the correct section of these forums?

And to stay on topic of this elections and campaigns OP, I hope to God that Trump is the GOP nominee. He will get crushed again as he did when Ole Joe whooped his sorry ass.

This is nothing but nonsense. He already proved he doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself and his wallet. He was NEVER "everybody's POTUS" and he made that abundantly clear and it will be the exact same thing as it was before - finger-pointing, blame games, not taking responsibility for anything, firing people for being forthright, acting like an idiot on the world stage and being useless.

Nobody is falling for this nonsense except the people that like <censoring myself>.

Yes horrific inflation and a bad recession are the winning ingredients to get re-elected

I hate Trump too, but I accept the reality that he will beat Biden easily

JFK coming back from the dead?

They have run garbage candidates the past 2 elections because they don't have anyone. I don't see any options that will win

It's so sad that you think it has to EITHER of those two people ... how low do you really want to set the bar?

Brandon’s bar is quite low. Trump was far better than Obama so if you think his bar is low then you clearly don’t respect Obama, which is fair.

Trump left office with the lowest GDP average of any President (even before covid, the best he could manage was tie Obama.
Trump left office with higher unemployment than when he took office.
Trump added almost as much to the national debt in 4 years as Obama added in eight years.
Trump was in office when the worst biologic attack in the nation's history started - his intelligence apparatus failed the country.
Trump was unable to hold Congress at the midterm.
Trump nearly failed in his Constitutionally mandated duty for a peaceful transference of power.

So, please, just stop with the bullcrap about how great Trump was.

They could go with one of their progressive Governors. I think that if Biden doesn’t run again or Hillary doesn’t replace him that Trump won’t either.

If Cuomo (lol) had not been exposed, he would have been the guy. Newsom or Murphy would have no chance if that was the choice

Such a stupid and asinine opinion above. It is by all rational and objective measures a news article and not someone’s written op-Ed article. Nor is he campaigning for any person nor was he at a campaign rally. Nor was his teasing of a possible future run even remotely the limit of what he talked about. There is no legitimate grounds whatsoever to move this thread from where it is. Also just about any topic that could be considered as a current event, there is some sub topic below that one could demand that it be instead be it covid or abortion or guns or economics and taxes or defense / foreign policy, you name it, it could be moved. Bottom line though is that things are usually moved from current events to some other less discussed subtopic because some liberal members are uncomfortable about or dislike a conservative thread and whine like karens until they get their way..

It's a mistake to assume that Biden will be the Democratic nominee in the next election. Even if he intends to run again, at his age health issues can come up suddenly, or political pressure behind the scenes could force him to bow out. If the Dems run someone younger, Trump could just be left looking like an old, polarizing, 2 time loser of the popular vote, and he could lose for a 3rd time. Get someone new, and you might have more Dems jump ship after an unbelievably disastrous Biden presidency.

I did say above that if the Dems do not run either Biden or Hillary that Trump will in my opinion not be likely to run again either. Newsom vs De Santis is likely and it would be every bit the bitter struggle the last two elections were.

Or, you can simply post your OPs in the correct section of these forums. Every now and then you get it right.

There's no way they don't run Harris, if Biden doesn't run.
