So I'm guessing you don't have any facts or figures to support your arguments either then?

:bored: We'll hear this ^^^^^^ for years until it slowly fades away.

Life is very normal there with minor inconveniences thus far. I was in Moscow and Saint Petersburg a month ago.

China is ready to supply components for aircraft to Russian airlines, Chinese Ambassador to Moscow Zhang Hanhui told TASS.

"We are ready to supply components to Russia, we are organizing such cooperation," he said. "[Airlines] are currently addressing [it], they have certain channels, there are no restrictions from the Chinese side," the diplomat added.

Sorry, blaming America for everything won't help.
Lithuania is convinced it's next after Ukraine - Putin threatened them too.

And that's about it, Moscow and St Petersburg. The rest is the pits, starting with the roads.

There are no real benefits for ordinary folks joining the EU apart from the opportunity to travel without a visa.
According to your sources 50,000 Russkies have been killed and another 100,000+ injured. Considering that they started their operations with around 180,000-200,000 troops those 30,000 left are doing remarkable job!

As I said 6-12 months. All the figures I referred to relate to the end of this year and on into 23. Not now. And they figures I quoted are from official Russian sources.

China can supply Chinese components for Chinese made aircraft to Russia. What it can't do is sell components for Western made aircraft to Russia. And that's assuming Russia actually had any Chinese made passenger or cargo aircraft to begin with, as far as I am aware it doesn't. The fact is (and it is FACT) the bulk of its civilian aircraft fleet is of Western manufacture with some few locally made Russian air frames thrown in. And I think even then the sole Russian airliner in production uses Western engines!

And if China tries to circumvent the embargo by supplying western components or components they manufacture of behalf of the west? Is own imports of western aircraft and parts as well as all the Chinese airlines and/or parts manufactures involved will in turn find themselves embargoed! (Something like just 2% of China's trade in manufactured goods etc is with Russia. Almost all the rest is with guess who?)

And to remind you. Ever since the war began the Chinese have been entirely pragmatic in their approach to the embargoes. Buy lots of cheap Russian and other raw materials at a discount? Yes. Risk 98% of their manufacturing trade to defend the other 2%? No! Or at least they shown zero inclination of doing so until now.

So lots of lovely 'words' from that Chinese spokesperson there, but words are cheap. Get back to me when those spare parts start rumbling in. I wont hold my breath in the meantime.

No, the most reliable/reputable sources put a figure of around 20,000 Russian KIA with up to another 60,000 injured (bearing in mind 'injured' covers everything from amputated limbs to a badly sprained ankle. In other words anything that is serious enough to incapacitate a soldier for even a short period of time and require medical treatment. On top of that you also have have desertions and POW's which are significant apparently but aren't counted included in those numbers.

So the majority of those 60,00 injured can in theory be returned to the fight if Russia can persuade them to go. (Many are apparently telling their commanders to F^%$ off and are refusing to go back. But that's not my problem that's Putin's. )

And you also haven't included all the 'fresh meat' Russia is pushing into the grinder. All the reluctant, elderly draftees from the new 'Republics' inside Ukraine being handed Mosins and told to fight or be shot or the infusion of hastily trained non ethic Russians from regions East of the Urals who are offered 'bonuses' to go fight.

So you see there's still plenty of fresh Russian blood to spill for Putin (no-one from Moscow is going mind you, ethnic Russians aren't volunteering for some reason). The only trouble is all those 'new' soldiers are neither well trained, well equipped or for that matter well motivated. So in a sense Russia is running out of soldiers - the trained professional ones that is.

Perhaps the 'peace' is due to the mass exodus?

We'll take your best. Thank you! :salute:

Not your sources? Right. That usually happens when the reality hits you. Switch to denial. Anyway, do those people look confident to you? It seems to me that the coke head started using the steroids as well.

Nope, switch to truth. Not surprising you are confused by it. I don't quote figures from the Ukrainian government.

All of them seem to be closer to the battlefield than Putin. Perhaps Russian logistics can't supply enough adult diapers for him to risk the trip. Zelensky visits the battlefield, Putin hides in the Kremlin and begs China for spare parts. The only thing more pathetic than Putin are his supporters.

    That makes no sense.
We can't even speak the language, so how would that even work? You are being dominated by Authoritarian China now.

The main speaker of the Russian Parliament (a Potemkin democracy) called upon Putin to take the war to Baltic states.
It's hard for people of post-WW2 generations to take this in. How casually people can start wars.

Comrade Pooteen only has to declare them Nazis and his stoopid RuZZian orcs will follow him to war.

The real ugly joke is that Putin himself is the Adolph Hitler of the 21st century. :(

Ukrainian High school seniors recently posed for a series of poignant graduation photos, juxtaposing their youth and tentative optimism with the horrifying devastation of war in their homeland.
    ....

The students called the experience difficult — but important.

“We wanted to show that we live in such realities,” Olha Babynets, 17, told Reuters. “We wanted to show our pain, which is there and has never subsided. It was difficult emotionally, but we tried to hold on. And I think we managed to do that.”
